First let me say that all the MBV tobacco I have tried needs a very long steep, 6-8 weeks. At 8 weeks the 555 is one of if not the best I've ever tried. The USA seems to be popular & I like it. Those are the only 2 I can speak for right now, I have 3 more steeping but at 3 1/2 weeks they are not close to ready.

Does MBV take retroactive orders so I don't have to wait so long? I don't have that much willpower.

lol, well I couldn't resist, as I have nothing better to do at this point and it just kinda struck me funny and me being the smart-... that I am it was just too good to pass up. I can fully relate however, been there done that myself. :D I'm just waiting for me sleep meds to kick in and try to get at least 3 hours sleep, if I am lucky.

You, my dear, made my laugh out loud when I read that quip. It was brilliant, and exactly the type of witty repartee that I cherish in folks.

I wish they did... they could make a mint, for sure! I suspect, though, that they would have to charge more for "presteeped" juice - if nothing else, it'd take up a lot of space and be an administrative nightmare to keep track of, with all the customization on offer... "Did Joe Bob have the 555 in 50/50 with three shots, or the 70% VG with two?" etc.

Hello there...any recommendations for tobaccos would be appreciated?

Someone else may have jumped in, but I have to live up to Seanchai's belief that the tobacco fanatics always show up in the forums in the morning. :p

MBV tobaccos need a *loooong* steep time. Some will say 6-8 weeks - I tend to see it more on the 8+ week side.

Coumarin pipe is a lovely, mellow vape. USA Tobacco has a little bit more of a bite to it, but it's still one of my go-tos.

My vanilla tobacco is finally coming into its own - but it needs at least another 3 weeks, in my book. Buddy of mine falls in love with it at about 4 weeks, though, so I just may need them to mellow more than others.

My east coast tobacco is 4 months old, and I still am not in love with it, but it's ok. I seem to like deeper, richer tobaccos - this one tastes lighter and sharper to me than the others.

I have Ankara Tobacco steeping. It smells lovely, but doesn't seem to be quite ready for prime time yet. It's also only 4 weeks old.

I also have Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco steeping. Haven't dripped that one yet, so got nothin' for you there.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the 555. There are a lot of folks here who love it. My bottle and I don't get along so well. But I also haven't tried in in a couple of months. Thanks for the reminder to go dig it out of the box and see how it's matured.

Hope that helps!

And, on that note, now that I have lived up to the expectations of tobacco peeps who post in the am, a very Happy Holiday to all of you who celebrate it! Those who don't, may whatever winter celebration you have already had or have yet to have be full of love and joy!

As for me, well, I have a couple of inches of snow to go remove from the driveway before everyone else gets up. I am well fortified with salted caramel and coffee, and there will be a tobacco of some sort in my future upon my return.

Or maybe cinna-omnomnom roll. Or maybe sticky bun, which I didn't like originally and is now growing on me. Or, just maybe, I'll break into the eggnog...

Oops! I said the magic "now you must hide" word... :2cool:

You have exceeded expectations as usual, khala. And, btw, there's still some eggnog here with your name on it. :)

Have to share, cause you guys are the only ones who'll "get it" - we open a gift on Christmas Eve as a traditional thing... since we got home very late from Mass and we're doing Christmas late this year, we bumped the usual Christmas eve gift to this morning. And what was mine? A pair of vice grips, so I can stop borrowing the family pair out of the drawer every night to pull the stems out of my bccs for dryburning! I am more thrilled and amused by this than I can say. That's been on my "as soon as I can swing it" list since I started vaping, and I was actually a bit disappointed that I couldn't squeeze a pair into the budget this month - but I hadn't said so to anyone, cause hey, not like there's not a pair *available* to me. Mom being observant as usual. (Last year, she got me a high end mandoline so I could stop cursing a blue streak while trying to slice things halfway evenly.)

We let the sibling open one of her DVDs... at her usual rate, we'll probably only *see* her next when it's time for the rest of christmas. :)

Hope everyone else's Christmas is going well. I'm vaping Sticky Bun while eating a cinnamon roll (my Cinnamon Roll won't be steeped for a little while yet.)

PS - I forgot about the RY4. But probably because I'm trying to forget about the RY4.

Lots of folks love it. Mine is 4 months old, and has the same type of unpleasant tang to it that I find in the 555. I'm wondering if they share a common ingredient in the flavorings that I don't get along with.

As always, YMMV. Find what you love, and enjoy it!

That was the first thing I did when I got up. Nothing like fresh baked cinnamon rolls and a glass of eggnog with some cinnamon and rum in it to start the day ... oh wait, you were talking about e-juice, right?

I confess, I still haven't tried MBV's RY4... probably because I haven't yet found an RY4 I enjoy, although I've found a couple touted as "RY4-like" that I love... but so far, anything actually sold as RY4 has fallen short for me due to that tang you describe. I don't get that from the 555 though, which just goes to show that everyone's taste buds are different!

A place some call paradise
Merry Christmas everyone. Well put uncle ralphie.
I'm still laying in bed waiting on my daughter to come wake us up. She's 6 so the big guy is still going strong in this house and I can wait to see the joy on her face when she walks downstairs. All day yesterday she kept asking if it was late enough to go to bed yet. She's so cute and were so lucky.

So as I lay here I'm playing catch on one of my favorite threads. I realize now that I don't have my perfect morning vape yet so I now begin the search for that. I think I'm about to break down and order my first bottles of cinnamon roll and sticky bun and throw one of the coffee ones in there. Recommendations?

For anyone that reads this I wish them a very merry Christmas. I hope anyone that reads this is enjoying time with family and friends and good food and drinks. If today isn't your cup of tea I still wish you a great day off and hope you're enjoying it just as the rest of us minus the bush.

One last thing... I don't know how to post links and such but I saw a thread regarding a mysterious $9.84 withdrawal on people's bank accounts and credit cards. The thread asked that everyone check their bank statements and online stuff. On that thread a large amount of people posted that they too had been hit. Since we all obviously order online I thought this would be something to look out for.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Cob. Hope your daughter, especially, enjoys it - nothing quite like a kid's face on Christmas! I'm eagerly anticipating our "real" Christmas in a few days just for the look on my sister's face, so I can relate to that being the best part. :)

Re: Coffee, depends how you like your coffee. Cafe Coffee is a great black coffee vape. If you like your coffee sweeter, Caramel Coffee is good. I've also heard good things about Hazelnut Coffee from several on the thread, though I haven't managed to cram that one into an order yet myself. All of the coffees also take quite well to having mixers added... I've thrown some Whipped Cream in, Bavarian Cream, etc, anything sweet and mild seems to go well (and slows down the inevitable coil-gunking).

Hope that helps. Opal might have more suggestions, too.

There was a discussion about this somewhere in this thread, about page 3252 and on, but it's a good point to keep people aware of.

Fake emails are still alive as well, especially the ones about Undeliverable packages. It's easy to click on a link without thinking, especially if you're expecting a package. There's some nasty stuff out there so be careful.
