I've just made a couple of the folks on my IT team move to Windows 8.1. They both hated it the first day - and it's been growing on them. It definitely requires either training or a willingness to research and experiment.

I also remember when everyone who had to use it hated Windows 7.

I still hate windows 7.. refuse to go to windows 8.. no mobile devices here so no need.. cannot stand the whole icon based crap (icons are for children that cannot read yet) and want my XP BACK! I'll go linux before I go to windows 8.

oh.. and hi everybody.. yall can see how far back I am reading.. again

So is MBV's vanilla custard decent? Anyone tried it and have an opinion?

Just got it in vapemail Friday along with Boom Choco-Latte, Caramel Apple, Dulce De Leche, East Coast tobacco, Irish Cream, Whipped Cream, Hawk Sauce (Freebie)

What I'm tasting is something like a vanilla eggnogish flavor with a noticeable, but not overpowering, touch of allspice or something like that. Can't wait until it's matured.

oooooooo.. there was an old fortran language game called adventure that I played back in.. OMG I'm old.. 1980.. obviously text based. As I recall the idea was to find your way through a cave with directional commands .. find stuff to trigger other stuff like Y2 was for teleporting from the entrance to further in the caves. In that cave there was a "6; clam" that somehow was supposed to be opened so a massive pearl could be found.. never did figure out how to open that damn clam. A couple years ago, I was still able to find it on line.. good times.

I'm just transitioning my company to Win 7 from XP. Too many legacy programs that the developers won't upgrade so they will work with Win 8 which is just fine with me.

Win 98 > Millineum (sucked)> Win XP > Vista (sucked) > Win 7 > Win 8 (sucks). When is 9 coming?

That's in about 80 hours. I walked the dogs and had to sleep a couple of times.

Oh yeah... I'm the guy that got caught up on 3.5 seasons of LOST (over 80 episodes) in under a week.

another binge watcher here.. took us a little longer to watch Lost though. Stayed up all night last night watching Rogue.. the whole series.. vaping EVERYTHING while watching.

I never went the MMORPG game route.. ended up doing myspace games for a while.. got dragged to IMVU for a while.. beta tested for nuvera online (still go there some) and do content creating there - guess I'm more of a forum poster and chatter than gamer - do like AOE though and I avoid FB like the plague.

yep.. I do.. max VG on everything.. no shots and I'm good. I don't like fruity flavors much so can't comment on those but if you like the sweet stuff.. the VG carrier seems to accentuate them.

well ok.. text plus icons is alright too.. but just icons.. makes me feel like they're just talking down to me - like ok.. they can't read.. let's just give them little pictures and treat them like children. It's also that my eyesight isn't great and most of the time I can't tell what the darn tiny little icons are.

I liked win 98 and 2k.. loved XP
what I don't like about windows 7 is the hidden admin account crap.. disabled instantly
the whole guest/admin thing and the UAC.. also disabled immediatly
turning on the puter to a log on screen.. bullcrap! Also, tweaked so I don't have to do that.
the system blocking my entry from some files - even after *taking ownership* of my whole blasted C drive.. access denied my ...!
hidden and protected from me on my own machine just bugs the crap out of me
and the lame excuse for a system search.. big leap downward from xp.

I used to, as my last chore of the night, do a quick search for *all files and folders created today* in one click with XP.. was able to delete mountains of crap that sites just dropped in for grins and giggles.. little 1kb files or tiny icons barely visible.. all sorts of stuff that we don't realize is being deposited

yep.. an OS designed for us to be watched in everything we do.. and babysat on our own computers.. *insert growl here*

Did anyone eat the orange cinnamon rolls made by Pillsbury when they were younger (or now)? Wouldn't that be a good vape? Orange cinnamon roll? I don't have any cinnamon rol but I bet it would be a good mix with orange dream bar. The dream bar might make up the orange icing flavor. Anyone done this before? Or want to do it and let me know?
