I change my cotton every tank or every other tank based on my laziness. it's so cheap and I so amazing fresh that it's worth it.

That's what everyone says, and why I've been thinking about trying it, I just didn't want the hassle

So far I've only used organic cotton balls. I'm still playing with different coil builds so I've been changing the wick every tank, but other than being soaked in juice it's in 95% perfect condition. I would think with even a 'carto clogger' juice you could use it for a few tanks (I'm using a KFL+, so 4-5mL per tank). Even with as many wicks as I've gone through by changing every time, I'm still on the first cotton ball & you can't even really tell that it's diminished in size yet. That $4 bag of 'premium, organic 100% cotton balls' would last centuries if only used for wicks. The other nice thing is if you're not changing the coil itself, you can pull the old wick & install a new one in a couple seconds. No hassle at all.

That pretty much seals it, I'm going to hit up the drugstore tomorrow to get some cotton. I will try it out on my igo-l while I wait for the Russian 91 to come in.

Did anyone eat the orange cinnamon rolls made by Pillsbury when they were younger (or now)? Wouldn't that be a good vape? Orange cinnamon roll? I don't have any cinnamon rol but I bet it would be a good mix with orange dream bar. The dream bar might make up the orange icing flavor. Anyone done this before? Or want to do it and let me know?

Oh you just reminded me of one of my top fave flavors.....Strawberry Shortcake!!! Vaped a bunch of it this week end, even topped it off with Rainbow Sherbert, which was equally fabulous!!

Ever have Strawberry Shortcake where they put on an overdose of the strawberry juice...............Salacious Strawberry is the juice that is left after the cake is gone..........YUMMMMMMMMM

I would be very surprised if you were disappointed. Just get the best cotton you can find. The supermarket I buy my produce from has a all-natural hippie section so I just put on a dreadlock wig, inconspicuously went to that side of the store, grabbed the cotton & got out before anyone smelled that I had showered recently $4 may seem like a lot for a smallish bag of cotton balls, but it's completely worth it. You don't have to boil them or anything before you use them. No muss, no fuss, pop in a new wick & vape on

Same question Does hemp need to be changed frequently? Also, how is hemp better than silica or cotton?

Still in the learnin' process with hemp, longest build is 2 weeks old, as far I have not see any drastic loss in longevity compared to Ekowool, but there's definitely more prep-work involved...

I have a little phoenix RDA that i built a microcoil for and use cotton in it. I use to test juices. When I switch flavors I just pull out the old wick, dry burn and install a new one. It's easy peasy.

Wegman's (local grocery store) has a pretty good sized organic section, I might look there. But I was also considering sterile cotton from the drugstore. Any difference or benefit to either?

I'm using regular cotton balls that I boiled but if I ever make it to the store I am going to get some sterile rolled cotton. The only thing you need to watch out for is that some cotton has been bleached with hydrogen peroxide. That is why it needs to be boiled first.
