And the new icon is both brilliant and hysterically funny. I love it. (Doug - Mom happened to see it as I was uploading and asked why I didn't just upload a shot of the scene from The Girl In the Fireplace where David has a tie on his head... I agree it'd be apropos for the new year's festivities, but I don't think there's a screenshot around with a close enough camera angle!)

Stop challenging my willpower, I already checked the bank account and realized I can technically afford a couple bottles! Can't *justify* them though, so I'm staying off the MBV site today.
I can't justify any more either, but since my mother wants some, if I buy a bottle for me, that puts me into free sample territory. So I win win win.....

Vanilla Butternut update: After vaping various Vanilla Butternut combos for 24 hours plus, I have come to the conclusion that it mixes very well with pretty much *anything* sweet, nutty, vanilla, bakery, or creamy, as well as being a fantastic vape on its own. I still can't get over how *smooth* it is. It is quite sweet though (though as I said before, not cloyingly so), so if you don't like sweet vapes, you won't like this one.
555 update: I got some 555 from khala that's considerably more steeped than mine, and oddly enough, I think I *slightly* prefer it at about 2-3 weeks! The caramel note in it isn't as prominent in the older bottle, and I like that caramel edge very much. Just an FYI for anyone considering it... if you want it to taste mostly like tobacco, let it steep - if you want mostly "other stuff" with some tobacco in the background, go ahead and vape it. I quite like it both ways, and mom prefers it aged, so none will be going to waste either way, but I'm going to start keeping two different "stages" of 555 stock around.
And just as an ironic note - I got pifed a bottle of Boba's from a good samaritan on another thread - it was a surprise to me, so I eagerly loaded some up. It's not bad, but it's the first vape I've found that's *way* too sweet for me. Till that moment, I wasn't sure it was possible for me to find a vape *too* sweet.
Mom, however, quite enjoys it, and I'll probably be splitting the bottle between the parentals, cause Dad can't vape PG (which is the main reason I was thinking about picking some up). We'll see if Mom *lets* me do that, since the next time I see my father might well be October (his choice, not mine)... Mom might swipe his half well before then as an "if you can't be bothered to see your children when you only live 20 minutes away, then..." tax.

Thank you for all the work you do. I've spent way too much time visiting hospitals over the last couple of years, and the folks that pull holiday duty have to not only deal with patients, but stressed out, worried families - and I know it's worse on the holidays (I spent the last holiday season practically living at a hospital). So thanks.

Funny - I've got caramel coffee going this am as well. It's neither fish nor fowl nor good red herring - which is why I'm having the same verdict still out. I like MBV's plain coffee, and I love salted caramel, but the caramel coffee isn't quite hitting the notes I wanted it to. Might spike it with some caramel candy and see how that goes.
I am so trying to keep myself off the MBV site today until I'm actually ready to order... Got stuff I need to do today that doesn't involve shopping for juice!
Morning, MBV peeps! Chocolate Mint and Caramel Coffee going this am (no, not in the same tank).
While the Chocolate Mint does taste good after it steeped, I still far prefer Shenanigans. But I'm working my way through older juices to see how they taste after being ignored for a few months.
I'm going to break out my favorite non-MBV later - WC's Bora Bora. Need to spend some quality time with it to see which flavorings I want to order - it's really the reason I'm going to experiment with DIY.
Oh - and for those of you who pointed me towards the MVP2 for my chain-vaping buddy - talked to him yesterday about it, now that he's had it for a couple of weeks. He's absolutely in love with it. Thanks much. I'm hoping that he'll be able to keep reducing his analog use as he continues to enjoy vaping.
