Wanna see some shop/project pics Oz???......since you like woodworking

Always. I gotta run hobble somewhat slowly... time to deliver the 'news'. Actually I should've left 15 minutes ago, but there was still a little coffee in my cup & I'm hurting enough that I'm not all that motivated at the moment.

Settin up some Caramel Coffee I just got yesterday, spent 2 40 min cycles in the UC, and the nite on the warm baseboard.
Gonna go for it !!!!

good luck with that!

Sean: continuing the soup analogy. get some 60mil bottles, make 50mil of juice. vg is so "goopy" that it's even difficult to get all out of a beaker. if you can find something really wide, maybe you can use a spatula to get it all out. keep a 50mil bottle of of your pg/vg mix and a 50mil bottle of your nic juice. the extra 10mil in your juice bottle gives you plenty of room to adjust flavoring/vg/pg/nic level. just think "adjust to taste". it's easy peasy, and no need to get .... or worry about being exact! (it's a little difficult if you put 50mil in a 50mil bottle! you could do 40mil, i reckon, but calculations can be done in your sleep for 50 or 100mil.)

Heard that before........somedays, .... the alternative does not sound quite so bad :)

if you remember Orr, from Catch-22, he used to tinker with a stove in the tent. it drove Yosarian crazy! when asked why he did it, Orr would say cuz he hated doing it. that would just make Yosarian crazier! Orr explained, "if you do stuff you like all the time, times flies by. thus, your life will seem shorter. it you do stuff you hate, time drags. therefore, your life will seem longer!" (course that's paraphrased, even though nit's in quotes)

although, in New England, you probably remember a different Orr!

Morning, all. Rise and hurt is the norm for me, but it's better than not rising at all. :)

Thanks for the tips, Sam, sounds quite easy indeed. I'm dyscalculiac (math version of dyslexia) so anything to make the math less likely for me to transpose is a good thing. (I can do chem and physics no problem, but basic math gets me in trouble!)

We're well below freezing today... one metro Atlanta county did the smart thing and canceled school for today on account of the relative impossibility of getting enough buses to start. Most of the others decided to take their chances, so I predict the roads will be a mess today, with or without precip.

Could be worse... a friend of mine in Newfoundland has been dealing with rolling blackouts for the past week or so, followed by about 30 hours of no power island wide. Sounds like they've finally got the grid running again now, which is a fortunate thing considering it's about -30C there (-22 F).

Vaping Vanilla Butternut and Sticky Bun. Delicious, of course.

if you keep you mixes at 50 mil (or even 100mil), the math is totally simple! 40 of this, 10 of that, 42 of this 8 of that. once your steeping time has passed, you can tweak each tank that you try. once you are adjusting you bottles, you can just eyeball it.

my mom's from Newfoundland. -22 in January sounds balmy! course you're in trouble if you don't have an old fashioned stove!

Wacky weather to be sure. Not real fond of 5 degree weather, but when I look around.....
...its much better then -30
You guys down south must really feel this stuff.

I recall being in New Orleans sometime in the 70's, and they had a "dusting" of snow. The whole city shut down. They closed the Mississippi Bridge and I couldn't get home. I lived on the other side of the river

Yep, that kind of math I can do. :D

That's -22F without the windchill, though... said friend stopped keeping track of the windchill because it was "too depressing." They managed to keep warm okay, but my friend's sister is pregnant and was due yesterday... been partially dilated and effaced for a week or two. So their main worry was whether or not they'd have to figure out how to get her to the hospital in that weather with no power. Fortunately, the baby decided to chill out for a little while longer.
