Trying to get used to clearos and just automatically
using them and filling them and stuff. I want to use them
when we go on vacation (among other things).

What type of tank are you using ..... IMHO .... the iClear30 & 30s are pretty darn user friendly (my plastic tank of choice is the 30s)

I just got a few new Davide dual bottom coil tanks for my glass tanks (today was the first time using them) I like them just fine as far as draw, flavor etc, but they're not quite as user friendly .... but by no means are they difficult.

I'm an 808 girl for starters.
But I'm just talking the clearomizers with no tanks.
I need something that will work with cigalike or egos that won't
look big or attract attn. Clearos would be easier traveling with than
cartos, altho I'd take both and also a tank or two.
I've just never used them much before. I'm trying to practice now so
it's all second nature.

I learned something of interest thought I'd pass it on...

I took both my MVP2, my VV3, and my eVic - charged all three up, turned then off, and packed them away for 3 weeks (got my new ProVari just then).

Well, when I pulled them out the battery on the eVic was flat, not even enough juice to turn on. The MVP2 still showed 4.2v when powered up, and the VV3 showed 4.1v when powered up. What surprised me is that the eVic must still have some parasitic power loss (PPL) even when shut down in menu.

Three weeks isn't a huge test, but when you like to keep a backup in the glove-box of your car, this is rather nice to know.

Well the past two days just sitting there suddenly there
will be a glob of juice on the paper towel. This is 101
stuff but ........ well I'm not used to clearos. So realized
it was leaking from the bottom that connects to the bat.
That means juice in the middle right? Googled. Anyway.
So it said to blow through the center on to a paper towel.
Reading here the same times I'm doing this newbie stuff,
I take off the DRIP TIP and TILT IT and BLOW THROUGH
the center tube. Hmmm. Hand covered in juice.
That'll teach me.
I know better. Lots better.
It's this forum, makes ya brain dead.

sometimes juice (condensation?) collects in the area where the tip sits in the clearo. when it doesn't have anywhere else to go, it comes out the bottom. try lifting the tip out now and then and swabbing it out with a q-tip. that's vaping 102! ;)

Thanks!! I can use all the clearo advice I can get if I intend to take these
traveling. Was going to ask another question now forget.

What type of tanks are they if you don't mind my asking? I haven't really had a lot of leakage issues except when I forgot to put the rubber grommet back on the stem.

Not tanks this time just clearomizers that I'm trying to get used to for a trip.

These are Kanger esmart, top coil. Wondering if the Halo mini tanks would be better.
They're about the same price.

Mcol, I use only 808 also, I've been using the Aspire mini vivi nova & love it. With that said if you just want clearo, I've never used these but never heard any thing bad about them & my son thinks they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Oh and the clearos are Kanger esmart top coil.
I'm wondering if those Halo mini tanks are better. They're
about the same price.

Clearos are really pretty straight forward, basically when filling ensure all the juice is going down the side and do not fill above where the wicks (generally the upper most line) enter the tank. Be sure the o-ring on the tip remains in place and they do weep liquid into the center tube if laid on their sides which eventually ends up going out the bottom when up righted...
