My first attempt at DIY was the other day with MBV flavors. I just mixed into my 6ml reo bottle cause I was just messing around and I'll have to be more precise in the future. 50/50 with 9 drops of blood orange and 5 drops of Bavarian cream. 2 drops of sweetener. Not bad but pretty light on the flavoring. I'm vaping mostly zero nic lately so I can play a bit easier without worrying about nic amounts.

Sounds like a good ratio though but yes probably on the light side :)

DIY is a great experience and can be extremely rewarding but at the same time it can be frustrating as well. :D Over the past few days I have made close to 600ml of juice, ok, well 200ml of that was Hazelnut, but it's my comfort vape and for me it requires a few weeks of steeping, I would have made a big batch of Rainbow Sherbet but didn't have enough to make that big of a bottle and that is one that I vape daily now.

Just a bit of a recommendation for you, if you have a beaker or syringe I would suggest using those for measuring as counting drops is not precise due to the variances in pipette, droppers etc, for the diameter and the drops will not be consistent, in the long run it will save you some grief if you are going to continue to make your own, you don't want to have to reinvent the juice once you have it down to the way you like it. :toast:

A place some call paradise
Holy Cow! I caught up. Two days of posts about stuff I'm afraid to even talk about. Pretty sure somewhere along the line people left too. I've missed my time in here but duty has called me to watch people cut grass today. I gave it a try with them working on their own but that's a big no go. I left them be for 3 hours and almost nothing got done. Then I show up to stare at them and all of a sudden stuff moving quickly. If anyone here ever considers joing the army (or has friends/kids who are) just remember it's too easy to stay out of trouble and have your time be your time. Cause these screw ups are taking away my time!

I want to get into DIY but I'm going to start building my own coils when I get back from my trip. That's going to be my first step towards being self sufficient.

I love grits!!! Haven't had any good ones that I didn't make sense I left the south 6 years ago though. My favorite is swamp grits (shrimp, bacon, green onion and cheese grits).

My New Years order is still steeping and the only thing I was willing to risk it on was cinnamon roll. Really good stuff but I know it's going to be better. Has kind of a waxy taste to it at the 1 week old mark.

Currently vaping blue moo, moo juice (mixed with a little lychee SO GOOD), and ecto creamer (whipped cream and ecto cooler). Really wishing my vanillas were steeped.

I'm about to give up on sherbet. I guess it's just not for me. I guess I get too much lemon and not enough orange because two of my favorites are orange based.

Glad the Seahawks won. No clue on the current score. The guy that's stuck on the desk with me has a bunch of movies for us to watch if I can get these clowns to now fast enough.

If people are going to start leaving this thread I just want to say thanks one last time to everyone. I've gotten a lot of info from this thread, and I mean A LOT! I don't think my shift over would still be going if I hadn't tried mbv. I'm so fond of this company and their flavors (after a nice long steep that is) that when I taste the juices everyone here has (volcano for the most part), they all taste like perfume and air freshener. Then I give them a mbv card and tell them to order soon and then forget about it for at least two weeks.

So back on topic. Thanks guys for all your help.

There is one Volcano juice I highly recommend. Choconilla Haze. A really delicious, luxurious vape.

Has anyone else seen this BS yet?

I just read through that article. Those people are so deluded. Their grand plan to make people stop smoking hasn't worked so they want to do it bigger. Raise taxes more, raise the legal age higher, make tobacco companies do more confessing. They will never admit their plan has done about all it can do. Its time for a new plan.

I only did the drops cause it was such a itty bitty bottle. When I do the bigger bottles the way I do is pull stopper out and fill it to where I want and then put the stopper back in and put it in the bottle. Whole lot easier then trying to draw it out of the bottle with the needle.

Got my first ever set of RBAs! Currently trying to build a single micro coil on a Kraken clone, can some one tell me if coil legs affect the resistance?
The wire of the legs counts in resistance, but you won't get hot legs like you would on a "traditional" genisis coil. I'm not sure why, though....

Dear diary,

Tobeco KFL build #10

As it turns out, build #9 was providing too much throat hit and not enough flavor. I went back to 28 gauge at 10 wraps 3mm diameter. I installed the coil flat against the airhole then just barely lifted it. End result is 1.5ohms, much more flavor and throat hit is perfect. Ignore advice of lifting the coil 2mm off the deck, those people in the KFL thread are either crazy or don't know what 2mm really is.

The end.

I saw the title but didn't read past them trying to say regulation and taxation is responsible for the drop. Somebody got paid to write that article. There has been a lot of positive press for e-cigs lately. Even Reuters ran a piece about a week ago, my humble opinion is that somebody isn't happy about all the positive press.

Thanks for the info. My fasttech KFL+ clone arrives next week [hope it's a good one] and I'll be trying the double strand nest coil.

Hey whatever works for you is all that counts, as I stated it was only a recommendation, I rarely use syringes other then for smaller amounts for the larger ones I have a number of different size beakers that I use. :toast:

I thought the same thing as I was reading it, why else would they have some out with that BS, as you now have Blu and Njoy that have TV commercials running.
