Oy vei. This kfl clone is so good the pt tanks just can't compete. Flavor, easy draw, lots of clouds. It is effortless until it is time to fill. I really need to figure out a way to utilize the fill hole I think. It is my new Kinnabun only tank. All the flavors come out so lovely.

That said I think I'm going to call it a night. I really hope to see everyone here tomorrow. Roonies, Sam, Dusty, I am sending positive thoughts your way. Hang in there!

Butch, I did not work on your spreadsheet this weekend because I figured Oz was working on it. I didn'_t forget about it. Just figured Oz had you covered. :)

Good morning MBV folks :)

Warning: Stepping on the soap box....

I've purposefully stayed out of the chatter about moderated posts for the last few days because I understand both sides of the issue. I just wanted to say that I think the wonderful chemistry of the mix of people on this thread is rare. It is a group, by and large, that is friendly and helpful and kind that seems to cause very few problems. Many months pass, often with over 1000 posts in a 24 hour period, and not one of those posts will need to be moderated. The sheer volume of positive that overwhelms any negatives is rare on the internet. ECF is the only forum that I personally have continued to use for any length of time, and it is because of the great people here.

I understand wanting a forum elsewhere, and I actually encourage it. But here's the thing...please remember that there are many haters out there on the interwebz that could potentially find their way into that new forum, and they could ruin the experience. In my mind, it is this group of people, on this thread, at this time, that makes it such a comfortable place to hang out (and, to some extent, it is the threat of moderation that helps maintain the atmosphere). Starting another forum in another place sounds like a fresh start full of sweetness and light, but it doesn't take much for just a few to ruin it and take it to a dark place. I would guess that most of us have tried to defend MBV on this thread and others on ECF, and I know that I've seen several posts on this thread calling us to speak up in behalf of MBV and their products. I for one can imagine those and other haters making it tough to have a good time, and even reading some of the reviews on MBV's site reminds me of that. This is the interwebz after all...

I would likely join an MBV forum run by James, Jesse, and the staff. However, I would even more likely continue to spend the bulk of my time over here with you fine folks. Just sayin'... :)

Steps off soap box.....

Have a good one all :thumb:

I like that there is no swearing or really dirty talk on this forum. I have looked at other forums and they are awful. I can understand when you talk that swearing might happen but it takes time and thought to type out a swear word. We keep our computer in the living room so its nice that I can browse in here without worry of what might pop up on the screen. Even some of the other site avatars are nasty..

I agree 100%. I like this forum for the really friendly atmosphere it has and fell in  with the group of people on this thread. This is a cool thread to come hang out on and ask the occasional stupid question. I would hate to see any of the members of this thread go away.

I think it would be a good thing for MBV to either have forums on their own site or (I would prefer) a supplier forum on here.

Thank you Stone!!! I have also purposefully stayed away while this has gone on, and may I say that I agree with every single thing you have said here. It's actually the first post I've felt comfortable 'liking' in how ever many days this has gone on. I'm in a world of physical pain right now so I won't be posting for awhile, but I have been following, and will continue to do so, in hopes that our community here will remain intact. You all have come to mean much to me. Maybe it's my age, but I just don't want to get embroiled in confrontation. I was a rebellious hippie long ago who rebelled against authority by burning my bras, marching in peace marches, and attended many sit ins. I was idealistic and had passion for my cause. Now, I see both sides, and for me, I prefer an atmosphere like what we have here, 99.9% of the time. Love you all no matter what you decide to do. And that's all the typing I can do for now. Peace, my friends. roonies

Thank you Sam, Amiaji, and Stone (and all others who have wished me well)
I see the surgeon on Wed. I can't lift my left arm and my back is out too so I'm down and out, and a little discouraged. I appreciate the good thoughts. and it's peace out for me.

Sending virtual hugs and prayers your way. Hang in there!
