The everlasting quest for the aforementioned Hawk Sauce can only be prolificated upon by this phenomonon, known fondly as Faux Hawk Sauce. Fuax, meaning four in the Ancient language of golfers. You may be wonderin, how this may purtain to you in the present dilema with your spousal unit. One can easily see the correlation between golfing and obtaining voluminous amounts of said Hawk Sauce. If you are in the pursuit of said Hawk Sauce, you are accommplishing two endeavors at the same instance. I would have said same time, but as you know, in the moment that you say "time" that time has gone., while "instance" refers to a particular place in time. I hope that clarifys the time differential between vaping Hawk Sauce and playing golf. However, you could take the approach that vaping Hawk Sauce is how you obtain nicotine in a pleasant manner, not to be confused with the ancient method of burning tobacco, which originated with the Alogonguin Indians 1n 1645. However, I digress. To bring us round to your spousal unit.......It's much more pleasant for everyone involved if you obtain said Hawk Sauce in a speedy expeditious manner, or in layman terms, as soon as possible. If you need further clarification on this dissatastion, I refer you to Butch., the local thread resident that effeciently vapes and Golfs in the same instance.

Me head hurts

The Chi-Krack has arrived! It's been inspected and disassembled for a soak, nothing else so far. I'm soaking it cause I really have no idea whether my buddy ever actually used it - it doesn't look like he did, cause the build in it right now is the same as the other stock builds I've seen. I'm positive he never actually disassembled it, so I figure it could use a good soak regardless.

First impressions: This one, at least, is a solid little thing with some good workmanship. It's machined well and etched clearly. It doesn't say Vicious Ant on the bottom. (I actually prefer that, makes me feel slightly less guilty about buying a clone). There are no sharp/irregular edges. The 510 pin makes a good connection and there's no burring in the centerpost. There's no grease that I can see/feel/smell, and since my dad's a welder, I'm pretty well attuned to all of those sensations vis-a-vis machine grease... but since I want to be sure there's no metal shavings anywhere either, it went in the drink anyway. The threading is smooth, as is the air flow control operation. The airflow holes are close enough to uniform for the naked eye, which means they're close enough to uniform for me.

Ironically enough, the worst I can say about it right now is that the stock build (if that's what it is, and I'm 99% sure it is) is *crap*. Since I wasn't planning on leaving it in anyway, that's no big deal, but I was amused at the severe shoddiness of the build... hot spots, uneven coiling, uneven roll on the mesh, etc. If they're going to do that bad of a job, they really shouldn't bother putting a build in, lest a newbie try to vape it like that.

Anyway, like I said, it's all soaking now, so we'll see what I can do with it in a little while.

Awesome, let us know how it goes :)

Uncle Ralphie, this is priceless!

One of my smaller bottles of Sticky Bun is like that... identical to the others in composition, or at least that's how it was ordered, but it *still* tastes sour/soapy after 9 weeks of steeping. That particular bottle has never been near any heat, so it's not a matter of something gone amuck during a speed steep... it just ain't what it should be. Given the volume of juice MBV pumps out every day, I'm willing to forgive one bad bottle amongst the three dozen or so I've ordered. :)

This makes me feel much, much better about this particular bottle. I'm kind of afraid to count my juice collection - I've got over 40 MBV bottles sitting here next to my chair. Not gonna go count what's in the closet upstairs. But I agree - given some of the unvapeable-to-the-point-that-it-gave-me-a-rash stuff I've had from other vendors, one bad bottle from MBV is absolutely not an issue. I just don't need to order juice for quite awhile, so I'm really, really trying to hold off on my next MBV order.

Which means no cheesecake for a bit. :) But it will be in my next order.

Back on my Madagascar Vanilla kick again tonight. This really came into its own well!

Ahahahahaha yes! Charger finally arrived! First mech build ever! It's a lovely Kamry KTS+. Got a Kayfun 3.1 ES clone on there, it's still using the awful pre-built coil from FT, but I'm about to head to the local vape shop for rebuilding supplies and hopefully some advice. I'm thinking figure 8 build with ribbon kanthal.

Khala, have you tried contacting MBV? I bet they'd replace your bottle.

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I'm sure they would. But I didn't really know for sure that it was baaaad until I pulled it out again last night. I was assuming that I was dealing with something that just needed a much, much longer steep time than normal.

I also, however, don't want to take advantage of a vendor that is so amazingly focused on customer service. They've made one mistake in an order of mine and credited me an entire bottle - when all they needed to do (and all I asked for) was the difference between the size bottle I ordered and the one they sent. (It was an easily understandable mistake - it was the only larger bottle on an order of 15ml bottles.)

Now that I know it's most likely a bad bottle, I'll pitch it and order another one. I'm sure when I start DIYing that I'll throw out more juice on my own mistakes than a 15ml bottle of cheesecake juice. :)

Speakin' of significant others and surprises....

I am by far the one that doesn't like things sprung on them out of the blue, or put into the position of bein' rushed, oddly I didn't use to get bothered, not exactly sure when the change occurred but now I absolutely hate it...

Smoking, even after a year there are still those odd moments where it just pops into my head that I want one, goes away after a few minutes but man it's there pretty strong at that moment...

Juice stash, not goin there

I think it comes with age. I do not like surprises much myself anymore. Though I think it's because most of them are not of the good variety. :p

I had a dream I was smoking over the weekend. First time I've ever had a dream about a cigarette. WTH

Guess that it goes away eventualy. I have not thought of tobacco smoke for awhile. But somewhere around a year to ayear & a half ago was my last one. Have not thought about nor wanted one in a very long time.

I see IClear is comin out with a new clearo. The IClear30b. holds 3 ml,... bottom dual coil, 2.0 coils.

For those that give a dern, they come in colors also. I think the Iclear16 is going to go that rte also, Iclear16b

Sounds puurfect for me. I like the Iclear, but, I'm a bottom feeder. I don't wanna have to remember, to forget to hold e cig in proper alignment with the setting sun. If you get ma drift :)

I've had those dreams and they were sort of nightmares to me... I haven't had any lately I thinks because I'm done with those for good.

Wow, that had to be a little disturbing

I have guys at work that leave packs laying out on the benches at times and yeah every once and a while the "I wonder" thought is there, I know better though. Really stressful moments and there's been a few this past month or so, it does pop in there on occasion, but I get past it ;)

So my KFL+ from fasttech arrived today. Ordered on 12/18. Not bad.
I will say this one looks nice. Threading is good to very good throughout. Cuts are executed well. No chips, scratches, shavings or gleeps anywhere. Even the airhole screw came out with the 2 cent allen wrench provided.
Two potential problems:
No o-ring on the fill hole screw. I don't see how it *won't* leak. Teflon tape, here we come.
Those liquid channels really are cut small and shallow. Potential wicking problem. We'll see.

It is now taking an Ajax degreasing dish liquid/alcohol bath. When the water heat comes down, I'll scrub it with a toothbrush. Then a hot Ajax bath to take the alcohol off. Then a hot rinse and overnight air dry.
The provided coil was only semi horrible, so I hooked it up to the Zmax to get the resistance and fire it. 7/6 on 3 strands of what looks like 1mm silica. 2.5 ohms. Cool. Saw the inner coils were glowing nicely but the outer 3 coils were not. Gently started respacing those outer coils and the wire promptly snapped off the posts. Probably for the best.

Busy day tomorrow, but I should have a nest coil built for it on wednesday. Really looking forward to seeing how it vapes. Fingers crossed.

Now...how on earth do the chinese manage to build an ohm meter that misses the ohms by .5?? In my order I included an ohm meter. The same exact ohm meter I see for sale on dozens of sites. I put on a Protank 2 currently sporting a 2.5 ohm coil and the thing reads 3.0. ah...okay. I put on my Protank 3 which only comes with 2.0 coils and I get 2,4. My Zmax disagees. Geez.
