I read about that beer. You lucky bas***d.
It lives up to everything that's ever been said about it. I've had some good Belgian Tripels & Quads, hell I can brew a delicious one myself... but this... is perfect. The nuances are mind blowing.

Wicked the Chi-Krack with cotton this morning.... muuuuch better. I guess that officially makes me one of the people who doesn't get the appeal of mesh. I'm okay with that.
And also experiencing a Vanilla butternut infused nic high.![]()
Have you ever watched Dexter? 8 seasons are on Netflix. If your not familiar with the show it is about a serial killer who only kills other serial killers. It is a pretty good show.
There are a few flavors that taste slightly better on mesh. Mesh gives a clean crisp edge to some flavors. I have burned my taste buds out from smoking and dipping over the years so I do not particularly appreciate the difference. Couple that with the ease of working with cotton and the annoyance of mesh. Cotton wins
Bubble Stone is another winner imo it is annoying to prep a wick though. Ceramic is nice but fragile. Cotton still wins.

Mesh just seems like a hassle I don't wish to bother with. Ceramic might be appealing if the wicks were not so delicate and expensive.![]()
Actually he only kills murderers. Hunting another serial killer is usually a treat and takes place over the entire season. Ice Truck Killer, Trinity Killer (John Lithgow)

Every Christmas I put a bottle of Canadian Mist in the mailbox with a short handwritten thank you note.
Every year he responds with a fairly long handwritten thank you note.
The guy loves that Canadian Mist. And I always get my mail.
On the topic of cotton, I have found I far prefer sterile cotton gauze. I haven't ever tried to actually pull it through the coil, though, seems like it would be a PITA. But it can put up with an accidental dry fire or three much better than regular cotton. And for whatever reason, it seems to wick juice better and has a great flavor. I may have to try wrapping a coil around some gauze, but that sort of defeats the purpose and ease of swapping wicks out.
It is a huge pain in the ..... I did the quickie rewick of my PT2. The one where the guy in the vid just rewicks the existing coil with cotton in about 5 seconds. First, my old eyes struggle to see the opening in the coil. Lit magnifying glass on the way from Amazon. Second, it's like trying to thread a needle with weak, constantly shifting thread. Third, if you over twist or don't use *just* the right amount of cotton, you get MAJOR gurgling and leaking and no smoke. I'm still trying to figure it out.
And it looks so easy in the vid.
Addendum: I did buy a ball of cotton yarn to try as wicks in the KFL clone. Yarn has a little sturdiness to it, ya know?
By the way.....
I see James 'liked' my post about Mt Baker giving us all free R91s after the view number on this thread hits a million.
I can only assume that makes it a done deal. Hurray!
Cotton yarn is something I would like to try. I have quit trying to recoil any of my clearos. I've pretty much given up on them, although I do like the iClear 30, and think I'd like the iClear 16, perhaps some of the new ones. But really, I'm a dripper anymore. I'd rather put any future atomizer purchases toward something like a Kayfun/Russian, perhaps a Kraken. Where did you pick up your cotton yarn? I feel like it would stand up to the heat of a low resistance coil about as well as gauze does.
