I agree...I would not suggest starting on nicotine, it's really not worth it.

For many reasons.
One of which this forum is full of people who want to cut the nic down to zero.
And it's a struggle.
It's highly addictive, and frowned upon as a whole by society.
And the govt is trying to get its paws on it to ban, regulate, tax, whatever.
Best to not even go there.

You won't taste it at 0.6% :)

And you were very smart to listen to your elders...I didn't :glare:

All of this. Also, Pig, nicotine is not flavorless - if you're not used to it, it actually *masks* the flavor. A friend of mine vapes 0nic and his roommate vapes anywhere from 18-6mg. My friend accidentally grabbed some of his roommates 6mg one day (same flavor as his 0 nic) and messaged me saying "how can you vape juice with nicotine? It tastes like BURNING!"

So you are *not* missing anything by vaping 0 nic. Many of us are trying to *get* where you are, as fast as we reasonably can.

if you stay nic free, and learn to make juice. vaping should be easy back in Hong Kong.

no one told your grampas and grandmas that smoking can kill you.

Nothing wrong with those, I still use 'em. :)

Let me see if I can break it down a little for the interested, though.

RBAs are basically just another way to fine tune your vape. The questions you need to ask yourself are these:

1) Do I want to drip, or do I want to be able to get "the dripping experience" (more flavor and vapor) but have a tank that feeds the juice to the coil?

2) Do I want single coil, dual coil, or the option to run either one?

3) Do I want the coil(s) to be on the bottom of the tank, or the top?

4) Do I want the coil to sit vertically, or horizontally?

Once you've answered these four questions for yourself, you're down to the nitty gritty (plastic tank or glass, holes in the posts or not, air flow control or not, all that stuff). But start by answering the basics... once you can answer those, the rest is easy.

It's really no different than rebuilding a coil for a tank, you just have more options.

Thanks Sean, guess i am happy where i am at, for the moment. When i do decide to go into all that other stuff, i know all you people will be there to hold my hand and get me through it all! :)

We will. And nothing wrong with being happy with your current vape... saves a lot of money that way. ;)

Nope, worse. Much worse. :) I started at 12mg, ended up having to go to 18mg, and had to get 24mg for my mom. I ran out of a flavor I liked at 18mg one day and figured I could just drip a little of her 24mg... and it tasted like vaping a forest fire. I'm finally able to start ordering 12mg again this month (with plenty of 18 left for the bad moments), and I'm glad... the flavor comes through much better the lower you go. I wish I could vape 6 full time, cause that's when you can really start to taste the nuances, but I can only vape 6mg late at night when I'm ready for bed... taking my nic that low makes me want a cigarette if I try it for too long. You're better off not getting that started, and you're getting more flavor than the rest of us in the bargain.
