Butter Beer???? Seriously?

Edit: That's probably the single most common off flavor found in homebrew by inexperienced brewers. It's awful. VC says it doesn't taste like beer, but even so, why would you name a flavor after that?

Clearly, Oz, you've never read the Harry Potter series. Butterbeer in the Harry Potter universe is neither butter nor beer nor a homebrew misadventure, but rather, a warm butterscotch type drink that is a mild intoxicant to house elves, but has no such effect on humans.

Sorry you asked? ;) (Writers have to keep up with this stuff, what can I say.)

You are correct sir, I have never read or watched Senor Potter. The thought of 'butter beer' still makes my stomach churn though.

Being helpful here - relatively safe.
Being helpful to new homebrewers - you drink a lot of really crappy beer.

I just ordered another liter of Nic base yesterday probably could have held off a while but with all the hoopla startin' up again, figured better safe than sorry ;)

Do you find that different nicotine, pg, and vg bases offer better or worse experiences?

If it helps, and it probably doesn't - it's a bit of wordplay. Butter-Scotch, Butter-Beer. There's a lot of wordplay in the Potter books, some of it quite sophisticated for the audience.

I didn't read the books, but a friend lent me all of the DVDs...It took me 4 days to watch them all...

The movies are a shadow of the books. So much was left out or changed. If you ever get a chance, I definitely recommend them for feeding your inner child. :p Or Ralphie. I'm sure he must be hungry all lost on the other side of Butch's bush. :p
