Hang in there Kelli :(
The movies are a shadow of the books. So much was left out or changed. If you ever get a chance, I definitely recommend them for feeding your inner child. :p Or Ralphie. I'm sure he must be hungry all lost on the other side of Butch's bush. :p
 LOL
do i look better all fuzzy? :p
Have we seen you not fuzzy?????

Loved the books. :)

I keep an eye on YA (Young Adult - used to be called Juvenile Fiction) books because some of that is my wheelhouse, so it's good to keep an eye on what's out there. Discovered the first two books way before they were "a thing" and decided they might make good read-aloud material to a class full of adamant non-readers (special ed/contained classroom). The first sign I was on the right track came one day when the head teacher (my boss) decided to take over the daily chapter reading while I proctored a test in the other room. The teacher stomped in ten minutes later and said "You have to get back in there, they're about to riot - apparently I don't "do the voices"."

The second sign my instincts were right was when the third book came out and a full half of the class, heretofore *violently* allergic to books, reading, or anything that looked like either, had bought their own copies, would not put them away during class, and we had to institute a "Harry Potter box" for them to drop their books into as they came in the door, to be retrieved when they left the classroom for lunch, recess, or the end of the day.

It's not Great Literature, but it's a beloved series for a reason - it made millions of "non-readers" into readers, and that's a good thing.

I didn't read the books, but a friend lent me all of the DVDs...It took me 4 days to watch them all...

The books are better. They had to clip so much out of the plot in order to make it fit a feature film length that after the third movie, things are *bloody* confusing if you haven't read the books.

(I might still be irritated at Alfonso Cuaron for deciding to go with that looong cinematic pause at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban in Remus' office, instead of taking that same amount of time to EXPLAIN HOW REMUS KNEW WHAT THE MAP WAS and HOW IT WORKED.... since that's just a tiny bit of a MAJOR PLOT POINT.... but no, we got swelling scores and meaningful silence, instead. Directors. Ugh.)

Ahem. Rant over, sorry.

RANT ALERT*

The bottle cap broke on my hazelnut juice, and just spins around
and around now, can't take the cap off. Not ready to use it yet
so guess I'll worry about it later?
And how come every place I buy supplies from is out of the
808 to ego adaptor?? Conspiracy? I think so too.
RANT OVER.

Bring it down to the tracks miss Molly, I'll get that cap off for you. Using only the awesomeness of my mustache.

Do not like the sound of this! Pay attention to anything that seems "off",

chances are, your "gut" feeling is trying to tell you something.

Hugs and hope it sorts itself out!

How does one know if they are sensitive to PG? I hear so many people saying they have to go to a higher VG content (some even say 100% VG) because they have an allergy to PG .... exactly what does it feel like?

Reason I ask is that lately every once in a while after a vape it feels like my lips/tongue/mouth is full of a peppery numbing "something". I first thought it was too high nic content .... so I've stepped it down to 12mg ... then I thought it may be I was getting juice into my mouth ... but I don't really inhale that deep (and there is no "gurgling") and no evidence if juice in the mouthpiece ... then I thought it may be voltage/wattage settings .... so I adjusted down until there was no taste, and up until I was afraid I'd cause a power failure on the eastern seaboard ... but nothing helps.

I'll be happily vaping thinking ummmmmmmm butter scotch then all of a sudden phew phew phew pepper taste/numb mouth .... switch tanks, and phew phew phew pepper/numb mouth for a few vapes then Mmmmmmmmm graham cracker and all of a sudden the cycle repeats until it gets to the point that I can't taste anything no matter what tank with what juice I have .... just the pepper/numb mouth.

I've always stayed at 50/50 so can't really answer your questions.
But I want to throw out a reminder to stay hydrated. The numb mouth/
numb teeth thing I get is when I'm not hydrated enough.

I have a bottle that seems to get "stuck" like that, but after a few angry words to it and aggressively handling it, i can get it to come off.

Pepper is usually associated with the nicotine. PG can cause skin irritation, and a bunch of other things, for me it causes throat irritation at 80% PG, this goes away at 65% but I am dropping to 50/50 and will probably stay there. I still have a bunch of 65/35 to go through (and I will) but I think I like 50/50 better.
