Good evening MBV. I see the thread has been real active while I was away. I approve.

Hi there Amiaji, well I am very glad you approve, I was so worried that you may not have approved as to the amount of posting that has taken place since you were away may have been bothersome to you! :D Flying Fish, Swordfish, oh damn what was that again! Crap.... :p

pictures like that makes the old submariner in me smile and think ............ tonnage ...... bwahahaha

Yeah hubby was in here and we were looking at Uno's pic.
Hubby as mentioned before did several tours on board the U.S.S. Enterprise
and I'm not a water person, just pluck me at a casino for five days and I'm
happy. So we don't really care if we ever go on a cruise. He doesn't care if
he ever gets on a boat again.

I was beginning to get a little worried about this thread. It got rather slow there for a week or two. It is refreshing to see 40 pages in 12 hours again.

That's beautiful!
Doesn't that carry like 5,000 people? Where did that one go to?

More than 5K peeps, that one basically did the same trip we did, different cruise line....

Passenger Capacity......5,400
Crew Size...................2,150

Dat's one big canoe.:?:

It is a monster, we were on the largest of Carnivals and it stood at least 3 decks higher than ours...

pictures like that makes the old submariner in me smile and think ............ tonnage ...... bwahahaha

No, this is one big canoe.

Inish_Oirr_currach.jpg

It's a curach, to be technical - traditional Irish canoe with a wooden frame, covered with specially tanned leather - all done by hand. St. Brendan sailed from Ireland to Newfoundland in one, though these days they're mostly used for fishing. They've been built up to 60 feet long, but they're usually smaller now, mostly because there's only one tannery in the world that knows the correct tanning process to make the leather seaworthy.

This was docked one over from our ship....

Largest in the world...

I watched a documentary on these things where the engineers basically said a good stiff breeze would capsize them because they are all top heavy to accommodate more people. Just puttin' that out there. I hope Uncle Ralphie is alright.

In high winds the sides of the ship become sails and the jets aren't powerful enough to compensate and there is no real regulation on ship design so they can pretty much do what they want.

Congrats!

And not to continue the enabling (oh, who am I kidding, that's the purpose of this thread, right?) but I've found those juices *do* do superbly well with low resistance coils - on a rebuildable. Just not in a tank, because the hotter coils roast the whole tank faster than you can vape it. I'm happily vaping Vanilla Butternut on a 1.3 coil on the Chi-Krack right now, at 10.5 watts. If I tried that on a tank, I'd have burnt nastiness within two hits. I keep it around 5 watts in a tank - 3.5v on a 2.4 coil or 3.9 on a 3.0 coil.

Nooooo!!!!!! If that Fudge Brownie still tastes burnt, I'm sending it to you before I fall into that abyss!

I really don't understand how vapers survived without vv/vw devices. I understand you could get the same effect by winding your own coils or replacing your heads with differing ohm rated ones .... but lazy SOBs like me would never be able to enjoy "dialing in" to our vaping sweet spot.

By avoiding tasting things on it, so that you don't know any better!

I'm absolutely sure I'll be taking the protank heads apart within days. If for no other reason, than because they are there.

Heck - I've disassembled Fling minis just to see how they worked.

Off to bed, to try to sleep off this budding cold.
