I'm not so sure about the 1000th post thing either. If you add up all the posts I have ever made on any forum and it probably wouldn't equal 1000. Not sure what it is about this forum but I sure have posted a lot on here.

Not really. The trips to the city have both left me hurting the following day. At least it's a couple more weeks before I have to go back to see my mechanic (hopefully).
He hooked me up big time yesterday. Turns out it wasn't just a flat or a puncture, the tire was bad. I had 2 spares in his shop, so he just swapped one out for me. Then he showed me a set of tires he got from somewhere. They won't fit his car or his wife's car, so he gave them to me. Basically a brand new set of some pretty decent summer tires. When I see him in 2 weeks he's going to put my dying set on my winter rims & put the summer set on my good rims for me.
It helps to be friends with your mechanic & be a super loyal customer

He's a cool dude. I was going to him anyways because he's a one man army (owner, only mechanic, honest) & only takes Subarus. It's just a bad idea to take a Subi to a general repair shop anyways.
One day we were talking & I found out that we were both licensed Ham radio guys with similar interests in gear. Then I found out he had tried to brew some Mr. Beer kits - so I loaned/traded some of my older gear, brought it over to his house & taught him how to brew. That's actually how I got my 2nd set of rims. We help each other out quite a bit. Even when I don't need work done on the car, I swing by his shop whenever I'm in the city just to BS for a bit.

Woke up super early today....its time to play beat the snow....got a ton of errands to run then I can relax and mix some juice, build some coils and watch some good movies while the rest of this city conquers the snow.

Stealthing eggnog + bavarian cream and coffee today. Got cinnamon roll + caramel candy + pumpkin spice lined up (thanks, Sean, for the idea), along with some coumarin pipe.
Yes, I'm expecting it to be a long, annoying day. What tipped y'all off?
Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, fresh hot coffee is the nectar of the gods.
