Good Morning Sam, Mike, Fear, IMR batteries, Amiaji. Yes, it is Wednesday, it is cold again. Woo. My back is so HAPPY right now (not). I keep hearing this thing called the economy has turned around, but i'm not really seeing it yet. Ahh well, my Dark Italian Roast coffee is good. That's always important.

Gettin' goin' is tough today for some reason...

Hope things get better for you Roonies, it's hard to keep a good outlook when it just seems to keep pilin' on...

Yes it is. I thought maybe I would just sit at my desk and sing sesame street tunes for an hour or so and then go back home where it is warm. If it weren't for the weather and my back I would miss working in a shop or outdoors.

They are beautifully done and it's the core not where you are lippin', just sayin' ;)

The core is the problem. Vapor running through it picks up that metallic taste.

Hey Oz...are you looking for drip tips? These are similar to what Uno posted, but the stainless steel is only down where it connects to the mod...and he takes orders (no upcharge for that, BTW), so if there is something you want that isn't pictured, just email Tommy or Cameron and they'll make it up for you :)

No I'm not, Uno's just trying to spend my money again. I'm perfectly happy with my dirt cheap Delrin tips. It was just funny in the photo, because of what they're sitting on.

I built a micro? nano? whatever tiny coil the cool kids are calling it now

I'm pretty sure they're calling them squirrels now. Definitely not groundhogs. Groundhogs suck.

I need to find something smaller than 2mm so I can try a micro coil. I wonder if the flavor and vapor is that much better.

sent from my Limited Edition Monkey Island™ Talking Voodoo Doll Head named Murray®

I was wrapping on a 1/16" drill bit for a while. I'm making them a couple sizes bigger now & I'm getting much better flavor than the micro coil was getting. Micro's are ok, but it's just another one of those things like subohming or the like. Smaller coils aren't always better. Depends on what you like.

Afterdawn?

Pooh?

Farmers market?

Fudge brownie?

I found these randomly on mtbakervapors site but not with all the other flavors.... Why are they hidden and who has tried any of them and what do you have to say about them?

Miss Kali!!!! How've you been hun? :)

Too many pages to catch up on and I'm feeling very lost, so.....I like all the good stuff, congratulate the folks with mile markers, welcome back Ralphie, sorry about your wife Butch, glad your mom is hopefully getting better Sean, and anything else I missed. I usually read every missed post, no matter how long it takes, but just don't have it in me right now.

I hate my life right now. Slept 13 hrs. between last night and 8pm tonight, now up all night again....tired of it after over a year of crazy sleep/no sleep stuff. Want to meet and hold my new grandbaby but won't for some months, nor my grandson and other 2 granddaughters. I'm far away and alone for the most part....looking at 3rd surgery in 1 year mid Feb. (making a total of 5 surgeries in as many years) and not seeing the bright light at the end of the tunnel. Only thing keeping me hanging on are my grandkids and these two...my beautiful children...who aren't even children at all.....but my *kiddos* no matter what their ages. Sorry about the pity pot...don't even have an outlet for all of this that feels safe except for with virtual friends....on a virtual site in a virtual world....where I can vent and run away. Anyway, meet the 2 best creations of my entire life! And with that, I'm outta here for awhile. Too much on my plate and no time for this right now. I appreciate your many kindnesses over the last 9 months.

Soooooooo .... you work for a government contractor too?

Yes :) two of them in fact. I decided I did not get enough torture working for just one.

Safely nestled in behind my desk. Dripping onto my GROUNDHOG coiled IGO, because squirrels just do not cut it.

Oz, not that I am trying to spend your money, but there are some really nice delrin tips out there. I will post some pics when they get here. Maybe my provari cone will be here by then and I won't be embarrassed to take pictures of the ZOMBIE.

:D Yeah, that's a small part of my issue with metal tips, but really it's about the flavor that the vapor picks up when it travels through them. I haven't really spent much time thinking about it or analyzing them (because I just don't like them & really don't care), but I think it has something to do with the thermal mass of the metal cooling down the vapor traveling through enough to form a thin layer of condensate which will pull that metallic taste out. That coupled with my typical long, slow draws which leave the vapor in the tip for a longer contact time just increases how much metallic flavor gets imparted into the vapor.

Psh. Groundhog coils. Crappy TH.

Eventually I will replace the .99 ones. The one I paid $1.50 for is great, I have no reason to replace that one... but I also don't remember where I bought it from. The .99 ones I got from High Desert & those just are from poor QC. The bases aren't made to a very tight tolerance so they tend to wiggle a bit. They work fine & I got what I paid for, but if I find something I like, I'll get some new ones. On the priority list... well, they don't even make the priority list. :D

What's even worse is that My partner and I were moved into the reporting pit and I think this is where they (the reporting team) went to die. :/

They're like non-humorous zombies. *snooze*

Not sure what kind of experience you have with oak barrels, but be careful with that first batch. New oak is brutal.

You are correct my friend. Taking it very easy with this batch. It's only going to steep for 3 weeks in the barrel after I nail down the final recipe. I'm only going to make 180ml the 1st round.

I used these flavorings from Mt. Baker.

Madagascar Vanilla
Coumarin Pipe Tobacco
Maple Rum Tobacco
East Coast Tobacco
Toasted Almond
Brown Sugar

What kind of oak are you using? American? French? I would bet French medium toast would go real well with those flavors.
