i haven't seen anyone recommend vanilla butternut, but it's supposed to be good. it's on my want list (with pink champagne and rainbow sherbert)

Proof I haven't been keeping track of the thread closely today... yes, Vanilla Butternut is very very good, coming from a fellow vanilla/bakery/dessert/butterscotch lover. I have mixed feelings about Rainbow Sherbet - it's not bad, but it's *very* fruity so it's only an occasional vape for me.

I keep hearing that about Vanilla Butternut but I keep thinking Vanilla Butternut SQUASH.

Hi Everyone! Hope you can help me out with a few flavor suggestions. I know taste is a very individual thing, and I may not like what someone else likes, AT ALL. That said, it turns out I am PG sensitive and Mt Baker was recommended as one of the places where I can customize my juices and still have a wide variety of flavor choices. Before finding out about my PG troubles, I was new and ordered a LOT of juice that is now pretty much useless to me. I would like to reduce my chances of making flavor mistakes by getting just a little help, instead of continuing to "roll the dice" til I just give up! I am starting to get frustrated which is adding to the difficulty of quitting smoking. I know that I like dessert flavors, vanillas, custards, butterscotch, etc and MILD fruity flavors - not Jolly Rancher sour ones. I would appreciate any suggestions along those lines and let me know if you suggest double flavor, extra flavor, etc when going with 100% VG. Thanks so much!
I can't speak to the flavor shots, as I have never gotten any. But I have had success with new flavors by sorting the juices by average rating. Use the drop down box to in the upper right of the juice page. Then check out the reviews.

Wondering what side effects PG gives some peoples???

I spent 4 months sounding like I screamed at a football game for 3 hours. I also broke out, which I haven't done since I was 17. Then I got the bright idea to dial back the PG from 80 to 50 and they went away for the most part. My throat is still a little scratchy, but nowhere near what it was.

I spent 2 years trying to figure out why I was breaking out too! I thought I was the only one. A couple months ago, I got some freebies from a vendor that were 50/50 and the problem was finally solved. I must thank my Dermatologist in the near future for pointing that out (the dim wit!) to me after I told him several times what I was vaping! Haven't used the freakin' ointment or the pills he was feeding me since!

Welcome Nanny :) I would recommend Blood Orange (warning, it's a tank cracker) for it's natural flavor. I think it would be right up your alley. Check out Spring Break as well...it's a mixed fruit, but not a candy flavor. If you're looking for something very different, try Cucumber Mint as well.

Opal is our Max VG resident vaper, so she could give you some good tips about extra shots and how they affect a VG juice.

Good luck :thumb:

EDIT: Welcome Ladiekali :)

I broke out in the beginning too.
It went away two months later.
I knew it was vape related but didnt realize it could have been pg.

Ive just bought some 50/50 to try to see what difference it is. But they are steeping.

CriticalMass congrats on the win!!!!

IMRs, when I first started out Pg gave me a low grade headache and my face would get slightly itchy. I switched to 100% vg and gradually I upped the pg a little bit at a time. It does not bother me now.
Don't know why the Doctor never pinpointed it, but I knew it had to be something in the ecigs, but I was NOT going to give it up, even though my face literally was in pain! 50/50 seems to be working for me now and even better, there's seems to be a lot more flavor and less dry hits!
