To be honest, I like the community of folk you guys have gathered, I just don't use forums as much as I once did, but I do try to check in, say hi, all that good stuff. Having said that, this thread does move very fast sometimes, and there are sometimes a variety of discussions going on, so it's hard to slip in. I've seen people post and get totally ignored. You all are pretty good at NOT doing that, but it does happen.

I suppose the way I see it is, you can either make a new thread for your MBV related question and wait several hours for an answer (because there are so many variables involved with MBV juice, it will likely take that long before someone else with *your* variables happens by), or you can post here and have an answer faster that might require wading through some posts. I can appreciate not everyone likes the second option, but there really isn't an in between... a juice-only thread is going to have less traffic, which means slower answers. A juice and chat thread will have more traffic, but will have things going on that don't interest you (general you).

If what you (again, general you) want is a fast answer with no messing around, that's called the live chat option... or PM someone.

I don't bear the folks on the other thread any ill will, I just don't think what they're hunting exists (a well-trafficked thread that *only* has juice Q&A).

 I don't hate it, I'm just honestly puzzled by the idea that there's something "wrong" with this thread. I've never seen a thread that is strictly for questions and answers about flavors. If that's what they want, I suspect they'll be disappointed (such a thread could never sustain itself longterm, because who wants to sit there and read a thread full of questions and answers about 270+ flavors, half of which they're not interested in?).... but there's no reason those questions can't be asked here, and I find the insinuation that we're somehow intimidating to be laughable.

It's a recruitment thread. It can't sustain too long as is, some chit chat has already been peeking through here & there... it's only a matter of time. :D We'll have some new friends here before you know it... as long as they don't meet Butch & Ralphie too quickly.

Concerning the "chattiness" of this thread, I have a bit of a confession to make ... I did not become a member of this thread because I was an MBV customer ... I became an MBV customer because of the "chatiness" of this thread. It's my humble opinion that pretty much e-juice is e-juice ... sure there may be differences in the upper and lower strata of the business, but by and large one companies juice would be as good as another.

I was cruzing all of the juice vendors web sites looking for the ones that had a wide variaty of flavors and stumbled on Mt. Baker ... I found this thread looking for opinions (yes I used the search function), and pretty much fell in love with everybody (ceptin' for Uncle Ralphie and Butch of course) so I naturally started ordering from MBV and haven't found the need to look further.

I have always found this thread to be informative, supportive, humorous, entertaining and welcoming so chat on everybody ... chat on

Right? :D

This thread is definitely where you want to go if you are looking for advice on MBV's juices and gear, no doubt. It may even be how I heard of MBV, either this very thread or maybe reddit. Either way, you guys know your stuff and have pretty great taste, although I have to say Whipped Cream is not all some of you hyped it up to be. I love that there is such a broad spectrum of vapers that post here regularly.

I rarely have a bad Kanger coil and I do not get the leaking or gurgling that many people report. When using genuine Kanger coils. Knock offs are the exception, I do get leaking and gurgling with them. My peev with Kanger coils is the resistances are all over the place. Not a big deal because I use regulated mods with Protanks.

The main thing with a Provari and a Protank. Protanks are made to Chinese tolerances, they need slop in the 510 connector to breathe right. The Provari 510 connector is made to higher tolerances, has no slop. So if you torque your Protank down it will choke off the air flow. I just snug mine, works fine but needs to be "snugged" several times a day.

Yep, there is definitely slop. I didn't really notice it until I found a lack of slop with my KFL clone. The difference made me realize exactly how jiggly the protank 2's connector is while I am tightening it up.

Cob brings up a good point...Nanny, you might like Whipped Cream :) And yes, it does taste like airy whipped cream... A lot of people mix it with other flavors.
Better cut it out! My Wish list is waaaaay too long now. It's killing me every time another flavor is posted (well, the ones that I didn't try)!

They were going to do away with pink champagne but they
keep cucumber mint? Shaking my head.

Good morning TX. I haven't had very good luck with the Smok coils and had been thinking of trying the Kanger coils. Are there any bottom coil devices that don't give trouble out there?
Good Afternoon Amiaji! If you'd like, I could give you some good literature and tips on the Kanger coils. That's all I use at the moment and I did have trouble at first until I learned how to use them. The big thing is keeping the voltage down! Let me know, if interested. :)

I have Vapemail coming in today from the brand new store: J-vapor. The owner of J-wraps opened a B&M about a week ago. Supposedly I was the first customer (online), but have been waiting since then to receive it. There was a bit of a mix up in my order, so it's been taking a little longer to get to me. I use a lot of smaller mods for work 'cause they fit in my pocket, so I had to get this one: lrider kit.jpg
It's just like the Robust, but was redesigned by Aquavapor. It has a couple more options than the Robust. They somehow redesigned the coil head also, so I look forward to trying that out.

Now, my question is this... is there a way to get rid of all of these quotes after I post this, rather than unchecking them 1 by 1???
Anyhow, Good Afternoon Ladies & Gents! :toast::vapor:

hi ann :) and everybody :)

i am too lazy to find the post, but someone yesterday said they had a lot of trouble filling the minipro tank2's. i was just wondering why. takes me like 12 seconds. unscrew the coil thingie, stick the tip of the bottle on edge of tank, tilting tank slightly and fill until full. easy peasy! i think it could have been molly but i could be wrong.

That was me.

All I said was that filling it was annoying (remember, first day using it, and I was playing with new gear in the middle of what was a 19 hour work day). I'm used to tank systems without a hole in the middle I have to avoid getting juice into, and my eyesight at close distances isn't what I'd prefer it to be. So I have to take my glasses off to fill it.

Debating ordering a cartotank to play with.

oh ok, i find by tilting the tank and letting the juice run down the side, it avoids getting it in the air hole. duh, that probably isn't a revelation, but it took me awhile to find out. :p

and IMO, carto tanks are fine, but they take a lot more tinkering with than your mini protanks ever will. only thing is, you don't have to fill them as often. but it's rather labor intensive when you do. at least for me it is.

MBV's tips are a bit bulbous/large but easily worked around. If you have hand tremors as I do sometimes it just takes a little extra patience and I will brace my elbow on a table or something to help steady my hand.

Just a quick thank you for all of you who supported me in my momentary lapse of reason and pity party. I love ya'all and really don't think of you as *just* virtual friends at all. I've been around here long enough to know that is not true. I like our thread, and we may go off on tangents but I've seen that in almost any thread that I've felt like revisiting. I also see newcomers' questions answered quite quickly, actually, and usually by more than one person. So there. Installing surround sound on the tv and vaping a combination of Cinnamon Roll, Sticky Bun, and Blu Moo in a fresh carto tank. Very tasty!

^^^This is pretty much my story.^^^

That being said I can understand the reason for starting the other thread. I had been pretty much ignoring it but I will start checking in on it and giving info if I have it to give. I'll keep the chatting over on this thread.

I have a spare, thinner tip off another vendor's bottle that I keep handy... pop it onto whatever MBV bottle is in my hand and good to go. It's not a practical solution for on the go, though, unless you replace *all* your MBV tips with thinner ones.
