I asked this elsewhere, but got no response.

The other day when I was ordering from Mt. Baker, I asked about steeping time, since I am a beginner-- and he gave the usual personal taste response. I came to the conclusion that simpler would be quicker. My selection was toasted almond, cranberry (I live in cranberry country), hazelnut, and madagascar vanilla. Now, which of those would be the best to try first? Can anybody do a comparison?

With regards to melting tanks, just after I received my first order from MBV, I saw the note "Don't use our citrus or cinnamon flavors with plastic tanks" and went "DOH!"

To combat the cracks, I ordered a number of SmokTech V2 510 Cartomizer tanks and just some plain, frosted tanks themselves. Never a problem.

Also, in case anyone missed it, there is a special going on for the Kanger ProTank linked from Vapor Joe's. Not a huge discount, but since I'd been after them anyway I bought two and replacement heads.

Just ordered mine, thanks for the tip!

Wishing I had read this thread before I placed my first order with MBV. I have 7 flavors coming, Banana, Ecto Cooler, Red White & blue, Key Lime, Mt Dew, Root Beer, and Pineapple Peach. I would have added a few more if I would have read this first, oh well gives me something to look forward to;)

The Pineapple peach is wonderful...gets better after a week or so. Be careful with the Red white and blue. It turned an awful dark color in my Kanger T3...so did Twilight. So far those are the only 2 flavors I have had trouble with.

Now that I got what flavors I like I order 7 30 ml bottles a month and that gives them plenty of steep time. And I always add 2 extra flavor shots too. (Unless they are menthol) They have strong menthol!

The root beer is tasty the day it arrives, IMO (it's the only juice I've ordered 3 times in 2 months vaping). It's STRONG: I use 6mg nic in 70% VG and the root beer still gives me more TH than I can always handle 1st thing in the morning. The anise flavor mellows over time but is still enjoyable from day 1 (speaking as someone who doesn't enjoy licorice anything). This juice will fog a standard clearomizer, so be forewarned. I now vape mine in a polypropylene tank from Valley View Vapes and am happy happy happy :)

I've not tried any of these flavors, but my answer would be the same regardless: try them all the day you get them. Just a drip or two, enough to taste. You may love them as they are and not need to steep at all. If had to guess I'd say the almond and vanilla may be most likely to need steeping of the three, though.

Just to follow up on yesterday's thingy...

I've been using my dv mini nova since yesterday afternoon with the salted caramel, so far no problems either. I have noticed that either the saltiness is going away with the juice steeping, or my tastebuds have gotten used to it. It's still there, just much fainter than it was.

T3s are odd creatures. Maybe that little flavor wick that's on top of the coils has something to do with the problem?

Thanks. Somebody said a cranberry liquid from another supplier needed steeping, so I might just try the hazelnut first. It is either full carto or nothing, since I am just beginning.

Well, I couldn't take any more waiting and tried a few after only 4 days steeping. Spearmint is good, but the moo juice, banana cream pie, and cinnamon roll I put back in the closet. I know they'll get better.

I'm using an 80/20 blend, 18mg nic. What MBV flavors do you all recommend for the best throat hit? Learning that TH a key factor for me!

My experience is that anything in the Ice line has big big throat hit. Sometimes a bit too much for me, so they're not in my ADV category for that reason. I have tried Lightning, Orange Ice, and Extreme Ice (just bought the Extreme Ice DIY flavor to try out too).

Thanks Stoneface. I have some green ice steeping too!
You're welcome. If the GI is anything like the rest of the Ice line, you will have TH for sure. I also got vapemail today, and just started steeping....I've been waiting for Salted Caramel, and am exercising self-control at the moment.:|

I use smoktech 2.0 cartos in my tanks and haven't had any problems with the Salted Caramel juice. Some of the darker juices will "gum up" cartos faster than clear ones....My favorite was Butterscotch, but Sweet Cream has been my ADV for the past couple weeks. Loaded up on a bunch of stuff while awaiting the upcoming FDA decision. Delving into DYI too. Really hate it when people want to break something that isn't broken!

The Thug Juice is phenomenal in my opinion...

I really don't vape much besides menthol... menthol tobacco... minty juices... except a little cherry... Thug Juice was very well balanced and very strongly flavored without being a mouth irritant...

I ordered 50mls of it after devouring the 15-20ml bottle.

The white out was very good... and I am not sure how I feel about the Moo juice yet... Strawberry usually needs to steep from any made to order vendor... It's at least a "good" juice right out of the mailbox... but it has potential to be great...

The 555 menthol I still can't stomach... I am not a maple fan and the flavor is so Ms. Butterworth

I have some 0mg nic Sweet Cream that I use to cut juices down to lower nic levels. Never tried it on its own, other than a quick drip to sample. Do you get a strong butter flavor?

Earlier this week I received my first order from MBV. Up till now I was for the most part only using ecblend. Here's my review. First, the shipping was as every one else said, super fast. I got ordered on a Monday and was vaping it on Wednesday in NY. At first I did not like them too much. I ordered Rootbeer Float, Solacious Strawberry, Moo Juice and they gave me a free sample of Razzle Dazzle. Everything just tasted overly sweet to me. But, then after a few days steeping the flavors really started to come through. The Moo Juice is very smooth and tasty now. The Solacious Strawberry just may become my new ADV, its like creamy strawberry ice cream. The Razzle Dazzle is a nice mixed berry flavor and the original sweetness is now day by day developing a nice sour undertone to it. I don't think I will like the Rootbeer Float no matter how long I steep it though. It tastes too much like Black Licorice to me, I am definitely not a licorice fan. Over all, I am very happy with my first order. I will, still order my Dragon's Blood from ecblend but, I think MBV is getting the rest of my business from now on. Cheaper prices, faster shipping and after some NECESSARY STEEPING better flavor.

Hmmm....not really a buttery flavor, but a sweet "milky" flavor. Can't really think of anything it really reminds me of flavorwise. I like it a lot and my wife has vaped it nonstop for the past month.

Its not bad I don't get much tobacco except at the very end maybe steeping will help

After 24 hours the peach has mellowed quite a bit letting the tobacco come through. Gotta say I'm digging it!
