So I'm not sure if this is the right place or not, but has anyone speed steeped MBV juices using a jewelry cleaner? If so, how did they turn out? How long did it take you? </patience>
I have used the Ultrasonic Cleaner for steeping. Mine is an old model that I used to use for technical pens back in the days when you actually used them for technical drawings and had to clean them. Anyway, mine does not have the heat feature and is simply an "on/off" unit. With that said, I can put hot tap water in the reservoir and "speed steep" in the UC for an hour's worth of running time that seems to be equivalent to about a week's worth of traditional steeping. If you need the juice to steep more, then for some reason, the UC doesn't help more until the next day...when you can run it for another hour's worth of cycles. This is my personal experience, others disagree that the UC even helps at all, so YMMV.

Thanks! I was wondering about that. I think I'll have to replace it with something else then. Oh well that won't be too difficult

Quite honestly, it's like vaping pure 'sweet cream' with just a hint of 'something'....One of the two that are 'duds' for me out of about 20

Also, since occasionally two brain cells collide and I have an idea, I just spoke to Josh, and for those of you who have/are ordering "Cider Fire'..IT WILL CRACK/MELT clearos. Just passing what he said along to save you a few pixels. :D[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the warning...I suspected so much. I have some on the way. :) I have tanks for that too. Sounded great and I have been wanting to try an apple cider flavor!

So we shouldn't use our clearos? What alternatives are recommended? Anyone? I assume citrus is most any fruit flavor?

ProTank. It has an airy draw but i just sealed a couple air holes. I like my Evods better but you have to worry about the citrus juices (among others).

Phoenix Fluxomizers, Vivi Nova series (but the metal sleeves only, not the ones with the viewing window), DCTanks, IBTanks, Lil Mama tanks. I keep a running list, as I won't use anything that isn't safe for all juices just so I don't have to worry.

Truushot: I missed your original post, but just some of the MBV citrus clearo-cracking juices that I've ordered are: Solar Flare, Lightning, Ecto Cooler, and Orange Ice. Anything lemon, lemon-lime, orange, grapefruit, or tangerine are citrus. You can use cartos, Smoktech polypropylene DCT tanks, or any other polypro or glass tank devices. None of the citrus flavors that I've had so far gunk coils, either :)

ETA: Vivi Nova V3 is part polypropylene and does not crack with Solar Flare, Root Beer, or Key Lime.

I got my order today and I couldn't help myself...I had to try the butterscotch immediately. It just smelled so dang good. This stuff is awesome....if it gets even better when it steeps I am going to be in love :D
I got razzle dazzle as a sample in my last order and tried it last night...not my taste. It has a great berry taste and then the sour hits me..wow! :what:
If i was a sour taste person this would be awesome but I am definitely a sweet taste person.
The rest is steeping!!

Just something on my mind. I received my order from MBV and all is excellent as usual. But the following day in my email I got an opportunity to review the juices I purchased. Awesome idea right, but then I got to thinking and figured I would see what you guys thought. If I were a noob and had just received my first order and tried the juices without steeping the reviews would be horrible. We all know that most MBV juices don't peak for atleast a week or two and some take longer since they are so fresh. So do you think they should wait a week in sending the email or should they possibly send 2,the first giving a brief steeping time line with the review links and the second a week or two later after steeping. I just wondered if this was overlooked and not thought of or if I am just over thinking things again in my Captain OCD under-roos lol

I always wait myself, especially with a new flavor I haven't tried before (you can always review it later). My initial impression is not always my final opinion. This from a fellow OCD victim...

So I've updated my new order. Does anyone have any views on these?
Caramel apple
Cotton candy
Lemonade
Peach rings
Sweet cream
Razzle dazzle
Yellow cake
Good or bad opinions welcome!

Caramel Apple definitely needs steeping..and is heavy on the 'caramel'. Sweet cream also needs steeped and just keeps getting better. :). Haven't tried the others yet.

Salted Caramel is getting another "pure" run
The last week or so I've been mixing it with Butterscotch to not only extend Butterscotch a bit, but to reduce the chance that the SaltedCaramel would fry my attys
Finally got around to picking up some new Nova heads and the first one is getting a tankful of the SC(1.8Ω @ 3.3v)
Previous experience implies about 24 hours before the SC corrodes an atty, so about this time tomorrow we'll see if things went as hoped

Thanks Molli! I don't mind the steeping! It's always worth it in the end!! I'm really looking forward to the sweet cream. I usually do a extra flavor shot on all of my MBV juices. Did you do any on these 2?

Glad to know. I didn't order any of those so I should be good. Though I did order cola. Best recommendation of those you listed?

A lot of the fruits are safe....like strawberry, grape, peach, apple...haven't cracked a clearo with them yet. They recommend glass or dripping. On the "Cider Fire" it's not the apple that will crack your clearo..its the cinnamon which is VERY strong in this one. I got a Pro Tank to use with Tangerine, Lemonade, blood orange etc. They have a list somewhere on their site which tells you what flavors will crack/melt your clearo.....

Do you think it would gunk up a t3 like salted caramel?

Mine didn't I used it as an adv for two weeks and now am still using the same t3 (not rebuilt yet) on another flavor and it was fine but I give mine a vodka bath in between flavors. :)
