I haven't caught up with all the pages here, did anyone ever figure out why the Ginger Ale turns so dark in a clearo? I got a small bottle and loved it, could about feel the fizz. Canada Dry all the way, maybe its just me but it wasn't SUPER sweet, just right. Only a few days in it started to darken. Now it looks like I have coffee in my clearo! I will try to get a pic, the juice still in the bottle is crystal clear!

The best I could figure was Tiny metal tank (mini-nova) + chain vaping = excessive heat build up that carmelized any sugars in the juice. When I sent them an email tho, they thought it was strange also.

Oh okay, thanks. Strange...I have flavors that seem much sweeter to me, Butter Cream, Sticky Bun, Whipped Cream...they don't get all dark like that.

This thread finally tipped me over the edge to order from MBV back in March. That in turn led me to reorder in 236ml quantities of my original order. Again based on remarks in this thread I ordered and received some cinnamon roll and cake(yellow). I got them 2 days ago and immediately ordered another 236ml of cinnamon roll plus a bottle of sweetener. The cake needs time to steep and possibly some sweetener to suit my tastes but I can see its promise. The cinnamon roll is ready to go right out of the mailbox!

My question is what kind of ratios do folks use with sweetner?

hmm.. sweetener.. I fill whatever vessel I'm using.. clearo.. T3 or baby T3 then add a drop - vape a little and add another if it needs it. That sweetener goes a LONG way

I'm curious about the butter toffee too - not sure why that's not in my juice arsenal already.

Most of my clear juices go darker while in use.. I just attribute it to the heat cooking the juice a little. The ones that start out dark (cafe coffee) really get scary dark but still.. drool worthy

i just got pink lemonade and ectocooler from them today.. sent a 15ml sample of raspberry lemonade. the flavors are extremely potent because i added flavor shots.. my fault. the flavor is good, just way too potent. its like getting hit in the face with citrus.

any way to calm this down or will it calm down over time? i was thinking if i order some flavorless juice and just experiment with it maybe.

Yes, your best bet is to add flavorless nic at this point. You could try to order the same PG/VG ratio in the same nic strength. If you order that from MBV, ask them for ratios to dilute the juice that you already have.

I got butterscotch w/ 2 shots. I think I overdid it - it's VERY strong-smelling. I spilled some the other day and it was so overwhelming - the smell is just starting to wear off.

A lot of people love it. I am happier with caramel apple. YMMV.

I learned, the hard way, not to order any more juices with extra flavor shots without first trying them at their regular set flavoring. I ordered like 5 juices with extra flavor shots and I couldn't hardly vape them. I just rcvd a bottle of 50/50 pg/vg with 0 nic to 'water' them down and now they all taste fantastic. Next order is going to include the Nic Mix.

My most recent order I ordered everything with +1 shot of flavor because I upped my vg ratio in my mix. It worked out good for me. I'm completely in love with Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Apple.

The Freckled part of it is the strawberry.

ETA: Been working on Dutch Apple Pie this afternoon - not as nice as the Caramel Apple and Butterscotch. Very perfumy - and I steeped this for several days (apparently not enough.)
Do you taste the graham cracker/brown sugary-ness to the Dutch apple pie yet? I could totally be biased because I love the real food so much, but I have to say that it is my favorite juice. I vape it right out of the mail, but notice that it definitely develops as time goes by. Hope it improves for you!

key lime also tastes like perfume, per my wife. She thinks ecto cooler tastes funny (probably cause she never had the actual Hi-C ecto cooler) but think sweettarts are passable.

She only vapes one flavor and one flavor only... Madvapes minthol... she hates everything else. Maybe I should open up the extreme ice and give it a toot. Supposedly super strong, but we'll see.

Yes, it would seem Extreme Ice is your best bet so far :) It is a strong straight up menthol.

EDIT: If she likes Extreme Ice, try White Out next. It's a strong mint instead of a straight menthol, but they're definitely brethren flavors.

Did we ever get official percentages for flavor shots?
I'll be mixing this week and the less trial/error the better.
I'll start at 20% flavor aiming for +1 taste.

MBV's website says flavors should be 15%-40% and they offer 0-5 flavor shots with their premixed juices

Someone suggested that would equal

15% = no shots
20% = 1 shot
25% = 2 shots
30% = 3 shots
35% = 4 shots
40% = 5 shots

That makes sense to me but did we ever get official confirmation?

JAMES! - is this how the shots = % works? Does 15% flavor equal MBV's premixed juice with no flavor shots?

after vaping a bit of the pink lemonade again i think its that perfumy flavor everyone talks about.. maybe ill just let them sit for a bit.. i ordered 2 shots extra because i got a 65/35 pg/vg mix. i thought thats what people were recommending for the higher vg mixes.

do citrus flavors get a perfumy taste if they need to steep?
