Big fan of MBV and have liked everything I have tried except for RY4. I put it in a vivi nova after 3 weeks of steeping and it has a sharp urine taste if that makes any sense. Has anyone else got this 'urine note' or is it just me? It seems like it has gone rancid
I suddenly feel lucky that I'm not a tobacco vaper :)

X2 yep, I found the RY4 and 555 juice from MTBaker quite horrible to taste even after steeping.

I have tried RY4 and other tobacco flavors from different vendors, but tobacco flavors are not my thing although they can be nice for change in pace.

I don't know if MBV meant for this RY4 to taste like this or if something went wrong in making it. This stuff is not vapable.

I don't know, to be honest...I've never tried it. I will say that I got one bad bottle of another flavor once (just once :)), and James sent another right away. The replacement was spot-on correct. It might be worth emailing MBV and see if they would be willing to send another to you in County Jail (love that). It might be the only way to know if that is what all of the RY4 they make is that bad flavor. Phoenix-AU agrees with your assessment, though, so it looks like it could go either way...

I totally forgot to mention in my last post that MBV was kind enough to give me the sample I requested, I keep thinking I can't like MBV anymore than I already do, and then I do!

Even with the menthol the Hawk Sauce is really starting to grow on me, I've vaped half a tank already, which should mean I'm coming around to the menthol flavor.

My favorite is quickly becoming either Tidewater Tobacco or Rob.. I got a 50ml bottle Monday, and now it's Tuesday night and I'm about 1/4th of the way through it already... and and that's with vaping other juices as well. Am I the only one totally obsessed with Tidewater Tobacco? For those who don't like tobacco vapes, I suggest still giving it a try. It tastes nothing like tobacco to me, more like a lemon, vanilla, maybe even honey flavor that is totally delicious.

I have a question, has anyone tried BOTH HHV's Crackberry and MBV's blackberry? If so, how would you say they compare?

I hated Hawk Sauce at first as well, not because of the menthol but because the flavors just didn't jive for me. But with melding time, I tried it again. - That stuff is fantastic.

In fact I keep giving glowing reviews on here with the MBV juice, but I really haven't had a bad one yet. Although I am now down to one more week (3 weeks) for steep time for Macadamia Nut. I hope it works out. I want that to get a tank of it's own soooooo bad! But it really needs to have a big improvement from a week ago.

Sorry but I have not tried either the MBV Blackberry or any of HHV's liquids yet.

Hi everyone! I'm a new Mt.Baker customer that recieved my other Monday, after ordering it saturday! Swift shipping! I have tried a few flavors and companies so far sand have found a roundabout of what I like. So far my fave are #1 domestic by Johnson Creek-i freaking love this stuff!-, #2 high octane tobacco by GoodeJuice.com-has a great sweet maple taste with subtle tobacco-, #3 ranier by JC, #4 vandia by JC and last but not least, solstice by JC which is A citrus based menthol with orange on the inhale and a slight green apple on the exhale, love it!

Anyway, I got my my.baker juices in, tried them on mdcc at 3.7 &4.2v. I ordered vanilla tobacco, chocolate tobacco, American tobacco, and ocean breeze. Got a free bottle of raspberry lemonaide. All house blend 80 by 20.

I have to say, I'm not very impressed. Do I need to let them steep? They all have a very chemical taste to them except for the ocean breeze, which has a great pina colada and tanning oil taste. Maybe I made a mistake with ordering tobacco flavors? I have always been a fan of tobacco flavors but not clove. And these have strong clove taste. Johnson creek uses clove in a few tobacco flavors and I didn't care for them too much. The American tobacco taste like I licked a nang champa insince. Yuck! Straight chemicals!

Great prices and shipping though!

Um def not giving up on them though, I just hand over the flavors I don't like to a friend I just got into pro vaping.

Any sudggestions? I def want the extreme ice and non tobacco "vanilla"

Two things:
1) They will need to steep. Since they are all made to order, some steeping will be needed, especially on complex flavors and/or high VG blends.
2) I consistantly see complaints here speficially about mtbakervaoprs Tobacco flavors. I haven't tried any myself (except clove, which is spot on) so I can't really tell you first hand.

welcome to the thread Dan :)

yes.. steeping is a must. They mix your juice to order and most are just not ready for prime time when you get them - especially tobacco flavors - so I hear since I'm not a tobacco flavor broad.
I prefer sweet bakery type flavors.
There are some that are good right from the mailbox but do get better with age.
Mt baker seems to excel at the menthols and mints - extreme ice being right up there for good from the get go.

I recived mine yesturday, steep time. As you, the only tabacco flavor i have try that i did liked (no tabacco taste at all) are the jhonson creek one especially Domestic, i have try tabacco flavors from other vendor and i really hate them, i think most people (like me) that whant a real cigarrete taste went into tabacco flavors but is not. Tabacco flavors (in my taste) are way diferent, i think that if you are not familiar with smoking real tabbaco you will dislike them,,

Just my personal taste,

I'm just going to say that juices, no matter where you get them, most always need steeping. If you get some that don't, then count yourself lucky. The big hints are overwhelming chemical scent or flavor and/or perfumy scent or flavor. And even lack of scent and flavor.

I've tried the 555 (rich, caramel candy type flavor), East Coast Tobacco (fruity notes that start developing a bit of smokiness after a full week), Coumarin Pipe Tobacco (a richer fruity noted juice that also develops a more complex flavor after a week and seems to be getting even better in to week 2), Latakia Tobacco (rich, lightly sweet tobacco flavor that improves every day but was vapable the first day for me, with +2 xtra flavor shots) and Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco (+2 flavor shots, rich, sweet, carmelized tobacco flavor).

I haven't tried any of the others yet, but I'm betting they will all taste 100% better in 10 - 14 days. So, don't give up hope. I would offer the same advice for anything that just doesn't seem to taste 'right' to you when you first get it. That's the philosophy I follow and I'm glad I do, because I usually end up loving the juices after they have had 'their' time to steep.

Good luck!

just put in another order while i wait for my previous order to steep.. cinnamon roll, caramel apple and hawiian punch. everyone says the cinnamon roll is great out of the mail, so hopefully i wont run out of vapable juice. though i gotta say the ecto cooler even after just a couple days of steeping has gotten pretty good, and the huge clouds of vapor out of this protank is mind blowing.
