Whoever it was that mentioned Salted caramel gunking up coils MAY have a point (to me now!) I have replaced several EVOD heads in the last day. Somehow it's my MBV caramel apple or salted caramel. I either need to start learning to rebuild these heads (ughhhh) or figure out a new clearo. I mean EVOD heads are cheap, but this is ridiculous! QUANDRY indeed.

I'm ok but I used all my math Kung-Fu up for the day so I could use some help.

I have 50ml of Cinnamon Red Hot +1 strength (12% flavor).
I want to cut it with unflavored nic mix down to 10% flavor.
How many ml of unflavored do I need to add?

EDIT:
This is sad. I essentially aced Algebra & Precalc about 20 years ago.
I haven't used word problems for algebra since.
I'm trying this on paper/pencil and know how basic it is
I don't have the patience to figure out how to write the equation

Please help

I don't want to give up "gunky" juices - heck, I've got some Dorky Stud and Khlorine on the way. I think its a sign that I need to step up my game and learn to rebuild. ::::dragging me into unknown territory::::::

I couldn't write an equation but just figured it out. I think.

You need to add 10ml unflavored base (which will reduce nic) or of unflavored nic juice.

50ml of liquid at 12% flavoring = 6ml of flavor. To get to a 10% flavor ratio, you need to have 60ml total of liquid (since 6ml is 10% of 60ml). So, add in 10ml.

If you use no nic juice you'll drop your nic by 1/6. So 18mg becomes 15mg, or 24 becomes 20. And just like the flavor, 12 becomes 10.

That's basically how I came up with it.
So I poured it into my 50ml beaker and it's actually 41ml (lousy eyeballing it job in a 60ml bottle).
40 is 80% of 50 so I added 8ml instead of 10ml.

I hope this will save my too-strong Red Hot instead of wasting 8ml of base.

EDIT - I added 24mg nic base to my 18mg Red Hot so I now have 19mg Red Hot steeping.

My Red Hot was 80/20, the base is 65/35 so my 19mg Red Hot is 77.5/22.5

I agree it's the salted caramel. It gums up the coils very, very fast. My guess is it might have salt in it (not sugar) that gun up the coils... That's just my opinion and probably completely wrong, but I know I've never had this happen with any other juice in my year and a half (almost) of vaping...

Made an order from these guys not too long ago and the were super fast and went the extra mile! I requested to swap a juice at the last second because I didn't know the one I ordered would crack my plastic tank. Got a reply in an hour that said "No problem!" Sent me free juice with it, and they answered some questions about the juice later, even going so far as to offer replacement if I wasn't satisfied. Juice is delicious, and cheap. ThugJuice is one of those liquids that I thought I would not like but I love it.
Caramal Apple, Wintergreen, Ecto Cooler, Grappler, Straw Kiwi, Butterscotch, Bananas, and Spearmint are all great with Wintergreen and Thug Juice being at the top.

Let us know what they say about the RY4. I like Thug Juice too, something about it reminds me of drinking a tart Hawaiian Punch while chewing mint gum...weird, but good

LOL - I started a post somewhere about my beloved EVODs acting up and some members were starting to try and tell me how to rebuild. At the time I was overwhelmed, but after a day or two of thinking about it and messing with the heads, I may re-visit the subject.

I recommend re-visiting it. Once you learn how to rebuild the coils, it really is not difficult and it is inexpensive. You would then only need to purchase new coils when the insulators wear out. There are some good rebuild tutorials on You Tube...even if you watch a T3 or Vivi Nova rebuild, the basic process is the same. You can do this!

Bavarian cream - extra shots up to you
that one seems a bit more complex a flavor than whipped cream (my fave) might have just a hint of nutmeg or something going for it..not sure but YUM

My wife's friend said that the RY4 tastes like Vanilla w/no tobacco.
My wife says the flavor's weak so I mixed it 50/50 with MBV Mocha and she says it's better.
I haven't spent any time with it because I'm not interested in bacca flavors.

What don't you like about it?

Seems that Mudslide just needed a little time to itself. Hated it when I first got it, tasted like burnt plastic or something. Stuck it in my magic box and forgot about it for just over a month. Dripped a bit tonight. Tanked it up and welcomed it into rotation.
