I start at 20% flavoring with MBV's stuff and adjust up or down from there (rarely down). So for one 15ml bottle, you'll be using 12ml of base and 3ml of flavoring. I strongly suggest making 3-5ml test batches first though, preferably with plain PG/VG as it's far less expensive to pour down the drain if you muck something up. Also, bear in mind that you'll be cutting your nic level by the same percentage as the amount of flavoring you use.

Ok so if I get the base at 12 mg nic and make a 15 ml like you said then what would my nic be? Sorry if thats a stupid question but I have never done this before and don't want to poison my stupid ..... LOL

Filling my cart again at the updated site.....so......yellow cake or vanilla cupcake?? Which do you prefer? I will probably add fruits and whipped cream to it. *she asked, out of control and unable to stop reordering*
That's a toughie, let me know what you thought of either one you decided to order, was gonna grab one of those to try with my last order and forgot I couldn't decided either they both sounded so good.

I was wondering if I got this 236 ml Unflavored Nicotine Juice USA made - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes How much of the flavoring do I need to make a 15 ml bottle. Like the minimum cause I know its mainly to my taste, I just don't know how much to start off with.

Thanks!

I get my MBV at 18mg 80/20 +1 shot
I find that flavoring at 12%-12.5% gets me as close as possible
15% killed the flavor

Retrox- you use high vg right?
High vg needs more flavor.

I make my base mix at 67/33 20.5mg and add 12%-12.5% flavor and that matches MBV 80/20 +1 flavor very closely

My mix comes out to ~18mg 70/30 & terribly delicious

YMMV

You'll want this too - http://www.ejuice.breaktru.com/

I'm going to go with the vanilla cupcake. I don't have anything that is specifically vanilla so that decided it for me. Also just tried my free sample of Strawberry Shortcake that's only been steeping a week and it is so great that I'm ordering another 50ml.!! 12mg. 50/50 2 FS. The Whipped Cream right out of the box tastes JUST like whipped cream! How do they do that?? I'm happy!! Also ordering Graham Cracker and Peach Rings. No more juice orders after that for at least 2 weeks! I must be strong!!

Good choices Roonies - WC is killa! I always get 2 shots though (vapor tongue.) I was gonna tell you to go with the cupcake over the cake. I felt that yellow cake was sorta weak (ymmv.)

EDIT: FWIW, I tried Ahlusion Strawberry Shortcake - t'ain't no big thang. MBV can't be worse. Ahlusion Caramel Apple underwhelmed me too - I like MBV's a lot better.

Mowgli: Yes, I usually shoot for 35/65. Even so, in my occasional 50/50 mix, out of the 14 FW flavorings I have from MBV, only the Butter Toffee, Peanut Butter, and Ecto start to go dead or get funky for me above 20%. FW flavorings are fairly weak in comparison with the other flavorings I use from TPA, VZ, and Capella, but they're also a lot more forgiving. I've got a 50/50 MBV Snickers mix at 27% (!!!) that is pretty freaking awesome!

cocacola, if you order MBV's base with a higher PG content, you may want to follow Mowgli's lead and start with less flavoring. I'm used to going heavy with the Flavor West stuff (MBV's flavoring wholesaler) because I do use a lot of VG, which tends to mute flavors.

As for your nic content: If you start with MBV base @ 12mg/ml, by adding 20% flavoring you'll be cutting the nic by 20%, or 2.4mg/ml, which will leave you with a nic content of 9.6mg/ml.

Yeah good luck with that! ;)

Also thanks for the update on the Whipped Cream. Along with everyone else, I decided to go middle of the road and stick with the +1 like I do with most of my juices. But it was good to know that the extra flavor didn't ruin this one since I saw several of you liked your +2 shots (usually in a little thickerVG) and others really liked it with no extra flavor too, so I knew I'd be safe with my 65/35 +1. Thank y'all for that input. :thumb:

PS I know you already made your decision, but FYI, I've heard lots of good comments on the Yellow Cake (and Spinfuel liked it too I believe), so I have that on my wishlist to give a try... though I'm sure the vanilla cupcake is pretty similar and probably just as good.

FWIW - Yellow Cake was surprisingly good, while I found Vanilla Cupcake surprisingly unimpressive.

I made 100ml of Yellow Cake after trying it but I'm PIF the remainder of my VCC

I received a tiny test bottle of Milk Chocolate flavor in my last Wizard Labs order.
I want to try it with Yellow Cake but YC is perfect as a stand alone.
I'll probably get to it someday but just out of boredom not because of any need to add anything to YC

I didn't know I could request what the sample was. I want BACON, lolz

I LOVE THE BACON! but in small amounts.. a few drips in the afternoon to break up the sweet stuff works for me.. it's salty! I don't get the burnt taste.. smoked yes.. but not burnt to me.

Black clove is great! They tast just like the Non filtered Djarum from back when you could actually get them.

So.. if you never smoked a Djarum .. kinda leaves ya in the dark still. I'm going to guess the *black* part of the name does not refer to blackberry.. black licorice or black coffee, right?

Haven't pulled the trigger on my order yet. It's sitting there, waiting....I want Blue Moo too and they're out...and I SHOULD really wait....2 orders in 2 weeks already here....nothing exceeds like excess....I'm a shining example of that.

I've tried a bunch of clove flavors that people say taste like Djarum and they never really do. I may have to add this to my list to see if it really does

Djarum Blacks are just a heavily clove flavored tobacco cigarette. Here in the US, they outlawed the selling of "flavored cigarettes" in 1999, and that included Djarum, Sampoerna, and other clove-flavored cigarettes. To get around that, the companies producing these cigarettes had to add more tobacco, make them thicker, and rename them as cigars. I was pretty disappointed when that happened because on the rare occasions I did smoke then, Djarum Blacks were my analog of choice. That was my 3rd time quitting, with the help of Chantix, but I eventually picked the nasty habit back up again after a few vacations and such where I consumed massive amounts of alcohol. I then discovered the "underground" world of buying these "kreteks" as they are called online so I could again get the original ones that could no longer be sold in the US. Of course, I had to buy a carton at a time this way and doing that fueled the analog habit again. Though I generally only smoked about 5 a day, on some drunken nights, I could easily go through more than a half a pack, which for me, was a lot... So that's where I was at when I eventually started my vaping journey in late April of this year.

Not that any of you asked about that, but I figured I'd give y'all my own history with Black Cloves... and why I was so interested in the flavor. I ended up not asking for it on the order I just placed and went with the Dutch Apple Pie as a sample instead. Plus, I did just order their regular Clove flavor last time around and have been playing around with trying to make that taste like cloves. It's pretty decent straight up to me, though my sister doesn't like it. I want to try adding it to some kind of sweeter tobacco and see what I come up with, which is another reason I'm curious what else is in this new Black Clove flavor. (My mom and sister picked out some flavors and paid for this order, having it shipped to me so I can split em up and speed steep em, so no, it's not really my 3rd order in 3 weeks!

I did get the Mudslide this time that y'all were talking about previously though, in addition to the Whipped Cream of course. I'd wanted to get Mudslide on the last order but it was out of stock then so I'd went with the Boom Choco-Latte instead, pretty good--tastes like a chocolate milkshake.

Trying three new flavors tonight

Root beer float. Very root beery, undertones of cream. Wish the cream was stronger.

Cinnamon roll, another winner!! A bit strong for an all day vape, leaves a hot cinnamon flavor in my throat.

Banana Cream Pie. Good, perhaps a bit too much crust. I like it though.

I have a feeling all three will be on my buy again list.

I kind of like the USA Blend after all. I cut it down from 12.5% to 12.25% and it's a sweet ash tray flavor.
A little tobacco and a lot of maple.

Also vaping MBV Blueberry @ 12% and like it alot.
It's matured over the past month and is a good sweet simple flavor that lingers.

...and of course Butterscotch +1 from April. 236ml goes a long way when you have dozens of tasty flavors.

what is the best ultrasonic jewelery cleaner for steeping and how do you steep using it

This will really be dependent on how much you're willing to spend. The cheaper ones will usually have smaller tanks and lower timer settings. I don't find that a heater would be necessary for me as I use warm water and it stays warm all the way through even with cool down periods. If you place your juice in a glass bottle, you should get a better result than using the plastic ones. I leave my caps off during the process to allow alcohol to evaporate.

If you steep the Cinnamon Roll for about a week, the 'hot' evens out and it turns into an incredible vape. At least it did for me..and I am constantly reordering it. :)

That's how I felt about the RBF. So, this morning, I ordered some MBV Vanilla Ice Cream to mix it with. I'll let you know how that works out.
