I just placed my first order for DIY supplies from MBV. I'm a little nervous about making my own, but I decided it was time to take the plunge.
The DIY option sounds so cool until I remember i can't even fill my clearo without spilling something. I would think starting with the supplies from a vendor whose flavors you like will make it much easier good luck

MBV 100% VG and Ultra Sonic Cleaner
I have an order of MBV that is only 4 days old. I steeped it in this 6 30ML bottles at a time 4 cycles of 8 min each then 30 min off to rest the cleaner repeated 3 times 96 min total. The end result is juice that tastes like what I have been steeping for 3 weeks the manual way. Going thru another round as I type with thoughts of how much better it will taste next week when I have a nice Vamo to vape it from :)
I hear ya!

Some Mount Baker Vapor (Flavor West) Butterscotch I mixed at 12.5% flavor - 24mg 80/20 for a customer.
Speed steeped for 3-4 hours via UC and made less than a week ago. It's more than just ready :)

and a random shot of a local hoodlum sharing his ice cream with his pitbull.

LOL don't freak out. You don't need a pitbull or neighborhoodlums or even ice cream.

Some syringes, bottles, flavors and MBV unflavored to get started.
Read all the stickies in the ecf DIY forum before you start anything...
..and ask any questions you have in there. They're a helpful bunch :)

EDIT - I see you already started a thread in there. Good start. Keep calm and...you know

Mowgli is right...definitely do some reading first. It is easiest to buy nic base in your preferred strength and PG/VG ratio and add flavorings to that. However, nic base can be far more expensive than PG or VG...many folks work on recipes in their preferred PG/VG ratio without nic, and then use nic base once the recipe is very close. I would recommend trying this first as well, since I've wasted plenty of nic base myself :glare:. If you do order stronger nic base to dilute, it is recommended to order a strength below 60mg/ml since higher nic content bases can be dangerous to handle. Care must be taken...safety first :)

Take careful notes when you are working on recipes, they will be invaluable as you are developing them. Accurate measurements are also important for replication and consistency.

I also heartily recommend purchasing some of MBV's DIY flavoring mixes since a little can go a long way and you have the added benefit of knowing your personal optimal mix ratios. Once you have your mixing system established, it can be so simple to mix up a batch of your favorite flavors, and the flavorings store very well. :thumb:

I recently received a refill on my "all day vape" of choice, MBV Mudslide. With it, I got a few other flavors: Morning Juice, Boom Choco Latte, White Razz Mocha, Banana Split and a freebie of "America" (I don't see it on their site).

Personally, I found little difference in taste between White Razz and Boom Choco, and neither one really did it for me. Morning Juice is good, sort of a slightly sweet coffee, but ... kinda "meh". The freebie, America, I have nothing to compare it to as far as taste, but it's nearly gone :) It's this tart, sort of citrus, lemon - lime taste that really has hit the spot. I'll decidedly be getting more. Banana Split... More banana, less "split" to the taste. It's definitely not JUST banana taste, there's some cherry in there, but I get almost no chocolate flavor at all.

I ordered again just a few days ago, and got more Mudslide (I have been cutting down the nicotine levels in my vape, and wound up chain vaping for a little while), so on a whim I bought some Dark Chocolate.... YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU! Added some of it to Banana Split, and it's brilliant. I'll be ordering another 30ml bottle of the Dark Chocolate next week, for certain. Totally delicious.

The freebies tend to be new stuff they're testing.

I think the Dark Chocolate tastes like Godiva Liquor. It's a bit much on its own, but dang does it play well with others!

Quick question, how long does a 30ml bottle of strawberry shortcake need to steep to get a more prominent flavor? Mines a bit muted still. Given it's only been 4 days lol

I only order a 15ml bottle, and it took a good week until I really started to enjoy it.
