I was on a highway roadtrip today for about 375 miles. As I produce smaller plumes of vapor at lower wattage, no need to crack the windows like when I smoked. Although there are a number of other variables, my MPG was about .8 better than my older car had reached in the past. vaping can improve your drag coefficient!

I also found that my power window controls were only working from the drivers door, as I had a passenger who tried to open their window. This may have been an issue for the entire winter as we don't need to crack open our windows any more. Looks like I'll be vaping and tearing out a door panel at the car cemetery soon!

With my 4WD vehicle MPG is not something that ever improves even on the Highway but I normally drive with the windows closed and crack it for my exhales. Having the automatic function on the windows is nice though! I am not fond of the opaque white tint it leaves on the windows so I try to exhale out.

Are you absolutely sure that the other window controls aren't locked out. My hubby accidentally did that one time. It is a built in safety feature in my SUV. :D

Oh great. Now an electric window is a tobacco product, and due to the change in MPG, the DOT will want to regulate it as well.

When I look at your user name and your location... I'm thinking you've possibly gone all the way up to 5 mpg? :w00t:

It was something I checked and no luck. I had this happen once before when a sudden rainstorm soaked the control and had to replace it at that time. Thanks for trying to help! ECF, where one can get troubleshooting tips on everything!

@440BB, before you tear the door apart, you might want to spray some electronic contact cleaner into the switch. My driver's side was only working intermittently, but after the contact cleaner, it works fine now. Just a thought.

Thanks I'll give it a try!

Hey @440BB my Mopar Small Block doesn't get MPG it is GPM.

Big Block Mopars are measured in QMPG - Quarter Mile per Gallon

If you were talking about closed vs. wide open, maybe. But closed vs. slighly cracked? Color me skeptical. FWIW, variability in fuel and even the direction of the wind can make a bigger difference than 8/10ths of a mile per gallon.
