I debated getting them removed, but he needs them :( I don't know how many times I have woken up with a claw mark down my face :(

I got my cats front paws declawed when she was 2, and she's survived 8 years now without them. She's an outside cat for the most part (no thanks to us! she's just damn sneaky!) and seems to have no problem fending off other cats, dogs, wolves, possums, etc with only her back claws. She even disappeared once for 3 months and showed up with not a scratch on her. The only reason I might not do it again to any future cats I get, is the fact they're in so much pain after it's done. :(

I have a cat that is declawed and he is just fine without the,, the problem with my Waddle is he can't jump, he has no depth perception, he has no balance. His claws are the only thing that helps him get up a step or on the couch or get up when he falls on his side. I have definitely debated getting him declawed simply because he claws himself during a seizure but he wouldn't be able to function without them :(

And that is a very cute kitty!

Thanks, GC. The goofy pics were our favorites of the whole wedding.

<--- My Waddle and I ( my poor baby kitty had a stroke two weeks ago, doing fine but seems to be losing control of his back legs  scares me to death)

Aw...poor kitty. I have such a soft spot for cats. Hope he gets better! These are my girls.

Awwwww, look at the happy couple, thats a nice pic.

My initial thoughts after the wedding is that the whole celebration is really for everyone else's benefit. I'd have been satisfied with a bar-b-que in the backyard.
Yep, been 10 long years now, got a callus built up on my ankle from where the ball and chain keep rubbing:)

That is a gorgeous black cat! Looks all cuddly too!
5 years married, in my in-laws lounge room...by his grandfather (which we were happy with, his grandfather is about 95 now, so it was great, though he got my name wrong....) Dinner in the kitchen afterwards :D

We did a small courthouse wedding last year with the reception at our house afterwards. The pic was from the big family and friends wedding we had in June, where relatives from all over the US and England (my wife is British) flew in to attend. We had a short ceremony and then a kick ... party. Our friends are some of the best DJs in SoCal, so we had four of them spinning dance music all night complete with lasers, smoke machines, and a fire performance from a few of the people in this fire troupe.

And seeing how two weddings just wasn't enough for my lovely wife, we also had a vow renewal at Burning Man this year. (I told her she's not getting another until we've been married for 25 years though.) We built a garden gazebo, called it the Burning Chapel of Love, took it out to Burning Man, and then torched it after we had the ceremony. Here's a pic of us during the burn.

Honestly have no idea...his mum was a "barn" cat, I took her in, she had kitties, hubby accidentally sat on this ones head, hence lack of oxygen, now he the babied Waddles! If someone knows what he is, let me know! :p
Oh or if you're asking about Momo, she has some Siamese in her, not 100% but it's definitely there. She's very petite and skittish

I know it...she's always hiding, runs like she's done something wrong if you so much as look at her! If you touch her paws they jump like...I don't know, you're poking her with a needle or something? She's a very strange cat but you'll find her and Waddle cleaning each other, balled up, in a corner somewhere, she takes good care of him :)
