multimeter question

I went to Canadian tire to get equip myself with a multimeter before my Iatty arrives, but every model they have seems to only have 200 and above ohm setting, while I see in video to use the *20* setting, would it work with some calculations?

NO not the 20, The 200 is the one you want, the 20 is 20k,,, you are ok with this 200 one Almighty

Cheap multimeter start from a 200 ohm range.
Some (expensive) lab multimeters have lower ranges 2 or 20 ohms.
the price difference is not worth, a cheap one can read the resistance of an atty with enough precision.

I bought several and modded them to check attys and others to test batteries, etc. For 5 bucks, you can't beat the price and it works just fine for what I need it to do

Edit: The 3320 model has auto ranging so you don't have to select the voltage or ohm range to test; plus several models have automatic zero adjustment so that the ohm reading you get is the actual resistance (no subtracting needed).

This would be a really nice way to messure the atties Captain if you dont have to subtract anything

I use a ......edly expensive multimeter, Fluke 27II. Kinda pointless, but I got it for free. So I'm not complaining.
