I think I know what’s the problem. You got the series deck.I’ve also put the decks alone in multiple devices and coils that SHOULD come out as 0.45 (24g kanthal, 8 wraps @3.5mm) are reading at 1.68. It’s really weird. I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve tries several different wires and everything is reading really high on several different mods. I’ve got a stand alone ohm meter so old I don’t trust the alkaline battery in it, but I strongly suspect it would read high too.
That would in fact do it. I had no idea there WAS a series deck. Hmmm... I may actually keep these things. I need to get some parallel ones too though. Thx. U rock!I think I know what’s the problem. You got the series deck.

Single coil doesn’t make any sense. You can build singles on the postless deck no problem. Does it intentionally take up extra space or something?Yes there’s a velocity, postless, series & Single Coil deck for the Plus now.
Yes it does, plus there’s a tiny piece of silicone where the airflow is. It works great! Better than doing a single coil on the postless deck for me.Single coil doesn’t make any sense. You can build singles on the postless deck no problem. Does it intentionally take up extra space or something?

You have it all perfectly handled!@TrollDragon would know.
Advantages is the wrong word. Just different applications then a normal deck. Are there advantages to the series deck? This is the first I've heard of them.
That’s why there’s so many options. Different strokes for different folksSingle coil deck of Aromamizer Plus 30mm RDTA,Aromamizer Plus
Not sure it would work well for me. It really shrinks the deck size a lot, and when I make singles I tend to make them large.
I’ve heard people who like using PWM mods find it great. Are there advantages to the series deck? This is the first I've heard of them.
It’s a pretty narrow advantage and not worth the money IMHO. If they weren’t already in my hands I wouldn’t keep em. I’ve got a theory it could allow me to build a more resilient radiator coil and get supersubohm exotic coil performance out of a single wrap coil. I can do it now but the coils are huge and use fine wire which makes them a pain to install and fix hot spots on. Also they’re effectively disposable because rewicking a truly gunked up coil is arguably more difficult than simply replacing one. It’s a die roll. Are there advantages to the series deck?
