This is a random thread I decided to do because there hasn't been much activity on here today!

Today I recieved my beloved CINNAMON ROLL PREMIUMS from v4l. A few quick comments

At first I was taken back because they are not like the old ones I had grown to love. I was like, "how dare they change my favorite flavor like this", but after a few puffs, I fell madly in love. They have a hint of the old v4l cinnamon, quite nice actually, similar to a cinnamon sugary taste like a cinnabun. What I am attempting to convey is--yes these premium carts are a tad different from our old ones, but the flavor is very, very much improved. It has a certain quality to it I am unable to describe. So in my mindless rambling I am trying to say...change is good--Embrace it! My only gripe is the vapor and not much of my beloved snap crackle pop--but it might just be the one cart I am using

Second part of useless post.

Anxiety. All my life I have always been calm, peaceful, and carefree. Lately I have been experiencing tightness in my chest, which I originally attributed to my asthma, but after much testing done by my doctor-- it is not asthma, but anxiety. Can too much nicotine or nicotine in general cause anxiety? Does anybody have any advice for how to deal with it? I'd ask out in the general subforum, but I like getting advice from my family.

I do know that nicotine increases heart rate, at least in the short term. So if someone says they need to have a smoke to relax, they are fooling themselves. I have refrained from doing any vaping above 18 mg. because we just don't know how much nicotine we're absorbing. I also vape more than I smoked (like constantly) so I figured it would be safer at lower nic levels. This is just imho so take it with a grain of salt or a vape!

Actually there was just a study I read about how the affects of nicotine are dosage dependent. I can't remember which way was which, but high doses and low doses would produce either relaxing or stimulating effects. Can't remember how it went, now its going to drive me nuts until I find it again! Apparantly as smokers we would unconciously adjust the way we smoked to get the effect we were looking for. I always wondered about why sometimes I would want a smoke because I was stressed and other times because I was tired. I guess I was self-medicating without realizing what I was doing.

Hey Kimmy. You may want to look into Tyrosine (it's an amino acid) it helped me when I was experiencing anxiety:

Search - Tyrosine - iHerb.com

I recommend 500mg - I tried 1000mg and it was so long ago I don't remember why I preferred the 500mg I just remember that I didn't like the 1000mg

The reviews on amazon mention it helping with anxiety.

You are supposed to be anxious. Young and planning the rest of your life in a world that is coming apart at the seams. ;)

Your anxiety may have nothing at all to do with nicotine or any chemical or condition for that matter. Are you the worrying type? I was when I was your age. Constantly worried about what "might" happen?

Kimmy,

Between school, current events and waiting for the courts to decide the fate of our e-cigs I'm surprised we aren't all living in padded dorms.

Oh and I paid the extra for express shipping. They got here today, I updated my own little inventory sheet and I'm still trying to decide which ones to try first.

Drive by hugs for ya:

Right, I read that somewhere too... basically, short hard drags serve to stimulate and wake you up, and long slow drags calm you.

Kimmy from what I remember you exercise quite a bit which should help some with anxiety. While it's completely natural as posted by others to have anxiety it doesn't make it any more pleasant. Anxiety is a signal that something is wrong whether it's emotionally or physically.
Of course more water which seems to be the answer for everything.. :) You might want to try yoga or some form of meditation. Some supplements work well... and you could in fact be deficient in an amino acid or vitamin. The last suggestion I have is get as much sunshine as you can.
I struggle with anxiety myself and yes Maxx I am a worrier... :-x

I hope you find something that relieves the anxiety. I seem to remember someone giving you advice about using herbs? Did you ever try that out? I'm curious because it seems like herbal remedies are hit and miss for the most part.

I looked into it, actually I'm prob going to get one of them once I have more money, I placed massive orders this week so I'll probably have to hold off till then. Stopped off at vitamin world and got some great vitamin stuff, ever since I started vaping I have been so much more careful about my health! I want to feel good!

I seriously think the big reason I have anxiety is because it runs in the family and I have a stressful job. I need a new one, but with the way the economy is I don't think I'll have much luck!

When I get the herbs I'll let you know if it helps!!!
