Muscle pain, especially neck and shoulders

Wow...I am in gobs and gobs of pain.

I finally found the right combo of liquid and gear to get the vapor production and nicotine levels I wanted. So, I have been blowing (or should I say sucking) through cart after cart of yummy juices. I am vaping like I've never vaped before (which ain't hard since I just started vaping back in January).

About 6 hours ago, I noticed my neck was getting kind of stiff. About 2 hours ago, it got really bad.

Now, I had noticed a slight stiffness when I first started vaping back in January. It went away when the amount of vaping I did decreased. I am back to vaping full time (no more analogs at all).

I am also seriously hungry, but I'm not too worried about that. I might get a little fat, but at least I can breathe again.

Coming up on 2 weeks for me and I've got an annoying case of "mouser's shoulder" ... but in my case it's definitely a posture thing. Do you have my same tendency to dip or twist your head toward the e-cig (moreso than you might've with a real one)? Are you screwing up your posture by 'vaping' at your desk and resting your elbow on the surface/contorting yourself in a way you haven't for years?

Guilty of both here for sure. In fact, I think I switched hands when I picked up the e-cigs, since one of mine's manual and it's more natural to work the button in that hand - and because, when sitting at the PC, it's easier to type with it in my right (a little too heavy to hold upright between my left's fingers like a cig while typing, so I hold it 'across' my right thumb like a pen).. maybe I need to put an e-ashtray at my left [but I'm trying to kick myself into taking it back outside, because nicotine is more satisfying when you wait for it]...

Just something to watch yourself for before blaming the metabolites. I had a funny twinge the first day or two, but I'm betting that was more psychosomatic than 'lactic acid.'

Bananas huh? Hmmm...I'll try that. I was going to put in an order for Bananas Foster from TV anyway.

What do you mean that doesn't count?

Oh, alright. Fine. I will go buy some fresh bananas. I just hope my body can handle healthy food. Fresh fruit is bad enough. But at least I am not eating vegetables again.

Maybe vaping isn't good for everyone who tries it and other alternatives would be better.

Maybe. But it IS good for ME. I love vaping with a passioin and anything that takes the analog cigarettes out my hands, and the tar and 4000 chemicals out of my lungs, and the soot out of my teeth and clothes....is worth working sticking with and finding a way around the pain (if it is directly related to the metabolizing of e juice.)

Vaping is EXACTLY what I needed to kick smokes and get my life back.

Make sure you're taking in plenty of liquids:) I had muscle soreness when I increased the amt of vg I was using:)
RIMP:evil:

Increasing water intake definitely eased body aches for me. Some of the liquids can be drying/dehydrating for some people. I'm one of those people. In addition, I take an electrolyte (I use one or two of these a day - Pediatric Electrolyte Strips, 2 Pack | Walgreens).
