What type of juice holders have you tried, and do they need adapters? Like raven, vivi, dusters, phoenix's? I don't use filler cartos.

Although, with a 1.4Ω atty on it, it will fire at 6V. Now, to hook up the scopes and see where the voltage is.

Update: Wow. This sucker is dual mode. When I put it to 6V with the 1.4Ω, it doesn't use PWM, but goes to constant 5V. Lowering the voltage to 4.4V, it goes back to PWM.

What voltage do you get if you set the gripper at 5.5v Davon? Does it still vape at 5v with your 1.4ohm carto?

I just tested with a 1.6Ω carto, at 5.4V. It dropped to a constant voltage of 4.4V.

Thanks Davon. I get 4.6v on a DC 1.6ohm carto using a battery fresh off the charger. Unfortunately our numbers put the Gripper at 3amp or less, not the 4amps Smoktech is claiming. Will do a little more testing with different ohm atomizers but I doubt it will ever get over 3amp.

Yes. I received a couple from Smoktech on Friday. It has it's issues out-of-the-box, but it sure is fun to play with.
