muted flavor 2 days into aga t2.. help?

So... broke into rba's with an AGA-T2. Watched the videos, learned the tricks, and my first coil came out perfect at a consistent 2.0ohms. It's been great these past couple days, but today the flavor has been kinda muted and I haven't been getting as much vapor. What's the most likely culprit?

Is the coil gunked up with burnt liquid? I end up dry burning my coil every few days.

Here it is. I definitely didn't research enough because I didn't know about dry burning.

It doesn't look too bad. I'm not sure what the issue is. Dry burning can't hurt though. Do it with an empty tank, and burn til no smoke comes off.

Well I am using a pink lemonade juice right now - probably gunks it up a lot more than other juices, and I've gone through almost 2 tanks of the stuff.

But all in all it doesn't look like a bad job? It's my first build of a wick/coil.

It looks good. Really the proof is in the vape. If you don't have hot legs or shorts on the wick itself which might lead to a burnt taste your coil and wicking are good.

I still have some juice in the tank in question and I don't want to waste it, so I'm going to finish it and give it a good clean/dry burn. I have 4 AGA's all together so I'm going to get the other ones all set. Learning more and more everyday. Today: Hotspot prevention/fixing.

I think Mr Bungle mentioned, doesn't look like it needs a dry burn for some time. 2 things: Sometimes the connections loosen up a bit with use and this can cause a drop in performance/flavor/vapor. Check pos. nuts for tightness (and neg. too, for laughs). Other thing. Genesis style atties tend to simmer the juice in the tank. Flavor can drop off after 1st 1/3 of tank is gone. (will get worse if you are a topper-offer instead of a vape-to-the-bottom type)
