Muted flavor in vivi nova

I fixed up my friend who is a girl who'd be my girlfriend in another life with some Vivi Novas some months ago and when I vaped them, yes, the flavor was muted. That's my only exposure to them, but I sent her on her way with them because they worked very well.
I wonder if a cotton wick would help flavor? Guess I'm going to have to visit the gear forums and see what other people have tried
Well that was a good reminder of why I don't use most of ECF. I just ordered one of those Iclear30 to try. Everything I can find says they have good flavor. In the mean time I'm going to load up one of those octopus rda's with 555 WTA and kick back and watch a movie
I"m old school and drip either on a 510 joye attie with my super T drip tip (given to me from a good friend) or 901 with adapter.
What flavors did you notice to be muted? Was is Red Tail or Aroma....was it both?
I have a vivi nova that I got from Mark at Madvapes and it works well but then again I smoked for over 20 years so I don't have much taste.
I'm using Dark Honey tobacco in the nova and its holding out and flavor comes thru well.
Regardless, I challenge you or anyone to give dripping a try. Rock it old school with 901 (before your time son), if you don't want to deal with the hassles of adapters and what not try a nice 510 attie.

Thanks for the tip...so Nova's do mute the flavor from most suppliers?
FYI...I thought Dennis Hopper was awesome in Blue Velvet...I wish I could quote him from that movie but the F bomb is used too often.
It's mainly the Aroma line. I'm using the regular nova on eVic set at 8W and 4.56v. I do have a mini vivi nova that I use on a 650 ego. I always use an lr901 to test new flavors on. Especially wta liquids. I use the mini vivi's and have noticed slightly muted flavors but I like how they always work well.
yeah I have a few old carto's that i pulled the fill out of for testing new flavors. but with as much time as I spend driving around dripping doesnt work
I'm always up for a contest. I checked my gear stash and found a octopus RDA so I've been dripping in it. Actually works pretty good since you start it off with 20 drops then replenish with 5-6 drops at a time
Novas are horrible at muting flavor I threw mine to a friend and got a kanger protank
But it's nice on job sites not having to refill. Great vapor production also. I ordered Iclear30 to try
I've been really happy with the Kanger T3's and MT3's, but I've been waiting for the Protank for my Pluid. Just ordered it today.
I haven't noticed muted flavor in the vivi nova line of products (unless I use aftermarket wicks), but I have noticed that the draw is much better in the T3's.

I'm using the real vision's. Just changed coil and flavor is back. weird. I'm just waiting on my wick and wire and I'm going to rebuild and try with a bigger wick

Well Iclear30 showed up today. Overall I'm not impressed. Chain vaping gives lots of burnt taste even with all those wicks. Design is nice . Like the swivel on top but don't like the drip tip and you can't change it. Nova flavor was better with new coil so just going to clean more often
Finally got around to picking up a good magnifier so I could build a coil that would fit in vivi nova head. 4/5 wrap of Kathy wire on 2 strands of 3mm silica. Works great and flavor is a lot better
