Fixed mine with the tip of a ball point pen without even getting up from my desk. Left a tiny dimple, but no one will ever know. Fixed in literally 5 seconds. Sweet.

That is why in the second or third post of this thread I recommended that people use something non marring like a chop stick (not that any one will ever notice it). Now I said it again so if people are skipping around they will see it here :)

Glad it keeps working out for you and every one else (if your button indeed sticks out :) ).

I just picked up an MVP 2 from work to try out and I only had two complaints. One was the wobble, but turns out that was only a one minute fix. Thanks for the advice! I also thought it would work similar to the iTaste vv v3 and be able to switch from volts to watts. Not a fan of having to cycle through just to decrease my volts/watts, but with it's form factor, battery, and solid build and performance, I can ignore it.

I mentioned having written innokin on this subject. Received the standard corporate blow off response.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a happy owner of a MVP V1 and enjoy the device very much. One of my very few complaints is the way the toggle power on/off button on the bottom of the device sticks out. This cause the device to "wobble" and often fall over, particularly with a heavy clearomiser. I have seen this complaint in almost every review of the device I have read. I have also read that the MVP V2 has the same annoying wobble.

I came up with a very simple and easy fix for this problem. I simply use a wooden probe to push down on the base of the toggle button. Then flip the switch and push down on the other side. Some times it only takes one time and other times you may have to flip it back and forth a couple of time pushing down on the base. This allows the button to sit flush and the device becomes much more stable.

I would think that this is something that would be easy to fix before it leaves the factory. Although I love my device it would be nice if it didn't have to be worked on right out of the box to function properly. Hopefully you will pass this on to the appropriate folks in production so that they might be able to make a great product even better.

Hello ,

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion.
We've noted this problem, and have improved it. Thank you very much

What are the odds they actually fix this.
I just can't believe they keep kicking them out the door with this stupid problem.

At least we have an easy fix now :)

Received my MVP V2 yesterday. Same button wobble same fix. Why Innokin? Why? Just unbelievable to me.

Glad every one seems to be having good luck with the fix. Yet to hear of some one who it didn't work for.

I do have to comment that I had the bottom button start to sneak back out on me again on my V1. I just
gave it a little push and it settled back down.

Happy vaping :vapor:

This is no longer an issue on the newest v2's. My friend and I both got ours the same day from 101vape and neither of them have the wobble issue, the button is flush. I have also read several recent threads with people saying their new MVP2 doesn't have this issue either. Just thought it'd be something to mention in this thread.

Cool tip thanks. Can anyone show me how to do it in a video? It's seems like something i'd mess up and break my device

It is real easy. Take a chop stick and push a little on one side then flip the switch and push a little on the other side. Do this a couple of time until it is flush. Check it by running a credit card or such across it on edge.

It seems that all the newest ones coming from state side vendors have the issue fixed now, way to go Innokin. However, I'm sure there is still a lot of old new stock sitting on shelves in vape stores every where.

Has that button wobble been bugging you when you stand your MVP upright. Have you had your device flop over endangering your clearo? Well, it is a whole lot easier to fix than you might think. I bought a number 6 head and removed the bottom screws as I was going to sand the button receiver down to bring the button flush with the bottom as I had seen on a YouTube video. As I was taking it apart I remembered that some people had said that they were able to take the bottom off and move the button over. I didn't want to do that because I liked the idea of having the feature functional but I started pushing on it a little and realized that taking the bottom cover off really didn't make a difference as it had the same amount of play as when it was on. I noticed it gave a little when I pushed on it with a small screw driver. By moving the screw driver around the whole area and one end to the other, I was able to work the button down so that it sits flush with the bottom now! NO MORE WOBBLE !!! And the button is still fully functional.

So, if you want to fix that wobble, you don't need anything other than a probe and some time and you should be able to just worry the button down so it is flush.

Damn! That was easy as can be!! It took me all of ten seconds!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!:thumb:
