So I just got my MVP 2.0 a few days ago and I absolutely love it! My only problem is the iclear 30 is so muted I can't even taste it at all. My other tank is a kayfun so I don't that much since the flavor and vapor production are amazing in that tank but it does suck that my iclear 30 is useless. Anyone else experience this?

I have two MVP2's and I "Pif"d both Iclear30's to a friend who really likes them. I thought they worked ok but I HATED the stupid swivel trumpet drip tip! Much prefer my Kayfun's and Kanger tanks, all rocking hand made coils. If I could get a different drip tip for the Iclear30 and it was as easy to rebuild as a kanger coil, I might have liked it more.

How do you rebuild a Kanger coil? and on which tank?

Well... My suggestion would be to search "kanger coil rebuild" on here and youtube. There is a ton of info everywhere. It's actually quite easy and you would just need a few things (especially since you have an MVP2 to read the Ohms). I took bits and pieces of videos and tutorials and made coils my own way.

Basically a Kanger coil can be easily taken apart, all the pieces are simply fitted into place (nothing is threaded). Here's an exploded view...

I make microcoils using 30 gauge kanthal A-1 resistance wire and wick it with sterile cotton. They end up looking like this...

I rebuild kanger coils for a friend's Evod's, my own Protank 2, Mini Protank 2 and I've even stuffed a 2mm single microcoil in to Aerotank heads. Stock coils don't hold a candle to rebuilds in vapor, flavor, performance and longevity.

My single micro in an Aerotank Dual coil head...

why would anyone ever smoke this tank?lol

I'm a new vaper, about 3 months, and only had Evod clearomizers, which were working good, but I was really excited to "get into the big time" when I got the iClear 30 with my MVP 2. Wow, what a dud it turned out to be. Difficult to draw, and the flavor was almost non-existent compared to my Evods. I passed it along to someone who was glad to get it.

I'm happily vaping along on my MVP with my tried and true Evods. Great flavor and vapor with them!

I got the iClear30 with the MPV. The iClear30s came with the VTR. The iClear30b came with the Cool Fire II. While I'm not buying every tank there is out there, I've got quite a few, mainly so I can evaluate them for myself since opinions of people vary so much.

I have sources that allow me to buy at wholesale pricing which makes it possible for me to afford to do this. Of course, since opinions on any item can vary so widely, the opinions I share are my own.

I do know of people that love the iClear30 mostly because of its characteristic tight, warm draw. For myself I prefer a more airy draw that the other iClear tanks afford.

I'm looking forward to trying an iClear30x in the near future.

The Iclear 30 is a totally different animal than the Kayfun. Kinda like expecting your Ford Escort to handle as well as a Porsche 911. Then again, I don't drive my 911 to and from work, or in the winter, I use the Escort. YMMV.
Pictures ? Or it did not happen...

LOL..

Me no liky Iclero ........ Sounds like wanna be ipod iphone ipee etc etc....and taste like crap .... 8-o

Cheers

Kind of strange in how I am such an Innokin fan owning: MVP2,V3,EP,134 and SVD.

Yet don't use any of their toppers - in drawer - some new - some tried/cleaned/shelved.

IMHO - manufacturers have finally really done a great job with intelligent battery management systems for vaping.

Toppers - not so much - high maintenance - kind of work well for awhile. Granted toppers are the technology challenge and recurring money in flux for manufacturers in our market.

I have used most every brand to try and match form/fit/function with my battery units - I have some which are acceptable for now - tomorrow who knows.

My RDAs are low cost maintenance but not really all that suitable, to me, for out and about.

My RTAs, kayfuns/taifun/fun fun fun etc. - work well until I get a seal issue/insulator issue - sometimes parts are available - mostly not. Not a great choice for out and about.

I still return to my tried and true - sometimes contrary always small leaking puddles - EVODs for out an about with my taste V3 and EP or my smoktek mini/micro dripper if I am up to carrying juice - on occasion.

So, here I am returning to my teenage years when I was an amateur ham operator and build my own stuff - winding coils (inductors) with a smile on my face:D
