MVP2.0 question.....

starting vaping almost a year ago now....have not had a cigarette since and will never pick one up again. just got my first MVP 2.0 and I do like it. however, I was always under the impression that this device would make my ejuice taste even better, but I really do not notice much, if any, difference in taste from using my MVP then from my variable voltage/wattage ego style batteries. given, the battery life is far longer but so far that's the only noticeable difference I really see. so is this longer battery life the main advantage of having a MVP? (BTW...I couldn't care less about the vapor production)

Hi Jim, and congratulations on nearing your 1-year vapaversary!

Pretty much... The main improvement in your flavor is the topper (Atomizer). This is what turns your juice to vapor.
The MVP may deliver slightly more power to your atomizer but probably not enough to make it a revelation.
What are you using on top of your MVP?

I have a mvp 2 with a kanger pro tank 3 and I don't like the mvp, unreliable when detecting the tank, only thing I like about it is the battery life compared to my halo tritons but the taste isn't that good and actually makes my throat sore from some juices that normally don't, vapor isn't bad though but nothing crazy, if I could go back in time I wouldn't have gotten it

I don't regret getting my MVP 2.0.
Took me a couple years but I don't regret it at all.
I use an RDA on it at 11 watts. Good stable, consistent vape.
Give it time. :)

have you tried lowering the wattage? have you tried using another atomizer? like someone already said "taste is subjective" and the besides a more stable and accurate voltage control you may not be able to notice the difference.

I am using a Smok Micro ADC II and I love it... I am picking up an RDA on Friday so ill do a side by side and see if I notice any difference in taste and let you know

Merry Christmas :)

.Any RDA, even at 11 watts should be fine, even with a 1/16 coil. I can run 5/64 at 25+. Not to mention run mini protanks with no airflow hardly at 10w+.
