My 18650 2600 mah batteries lasts only 2 hours max??

I bought Trustfire 18650 2600 mah battery from altsmoke.com

It takes forever to charge , but it lasts only vaping of 2 tanks. Is this normal ?? Only 2 3ml tanks? I am charging it through a voltage stabilizer + 240:110 transformer with trustfire charger.

Maybe because I used 5Vs on 2 ohms cartos ??

...what PV are you using...does it use a single 18650 and jumps it upto 5v or does it use 2 18650s, regulated down to 5v...either way it should get better batt life than 2hrs.........

I am confused. The title of the thread says the battery lasts two hours. In the post it says 2 3ml bottles. 6ml would last me almost two days.
Question for the OP, are you really going through 6ml in two hours?

Its a 3ml tank ,sorry. But I fill half of it , so I can finish 1.5 ml in 1 hour of constant vaping. So I guess in 2-3 hours I can finish 3 ml and thats the battery life. I only vape 3 ml a day.

I use lavatube.

They don't fit , the cover will not screw fully on the battery. But it is not visible ,not a problem at all.

What I would do is use a volt meter to check to dc voltage of the battery when charged. It should be 4.1-4.2v.

Then check the battery when it dies. If it is a protected battery li-ion it will show 3.3-3.4v

I have a box mod with two 14500 900mah batts and they will last all day with 2 ohm Boge cartos at 3.4 - 4.2 volts. If I use a 3 ohm carto at 5 volts, I still get all day vaping from a charge. You might want to try a new set of batteries and check the cutoff voltage when they show charged, as some suggested.

Get some AW IMR Button top. It sounds like what's happening is your taxing your TF Protected batteries current capability which is why IMR is recommended. 5v at 2 ohms is right on the edge of the regulator spec also, you need more capable batteries and they should last you longer because they aren't being stressed as much, don't go by the mah rating here, booster circuits require lots of current draw from the battery when you're trying to get more voltage out of a battery than it's rated for.

LT's haven't been around long enough to fully understand how the circuitry works. Perhaps there is a reason that they say to only use IMR bats in them. Maybe Trustfires fall off to quickly, or your 2ohm cartos are banging up against their protection.
However I don't for the life of me understand why you would want to limit yourself with a 2ohm carto when a 3ohm carto will allow you to use the full potential of your VV mod.

The lavatube uses a boost regulator with a digital rheostat. Not anything special or one of a kind. 2 ohms at 5v pulls 2.5 amps. Protection circuits cut out at 2-2.5 amps. Imr high drain batteries handle a greater current load and are "safe chemistry" so there is no protection circuit needed. Op, you need to follow the manufacturers instructions and use the proper battery or dial it down if you want to use your current batteries.

I expect lt pulls more than 2.5 amps at 5v. No ideal electronics, there is some loss in boosting.

Since mah=milliamps per hour, and say you're vaping at 2.5a of current you'll only get 1 hour of constant use (as in your never take a break) out of a 2500mah batt if it is truly 2500mah....

That would take quite a tank
