I've had a horrible time with e-liquid. I can barely find anything I like. Today I went to the "cake store" around the corner and loaded up on Lorannoils (only the flavor types). They were 3.7ml priced at $1.49 each. I have some old but not yet expired V4L Menthol Nobacco 36mg (80pg/20vg). I used e-juice calculator and went for 50pg/50vg and 10% Tutti-Fruiti. Mixed it real well, let it sit in hot water and kept shaking every little bit. Just tested and it was good but not perfect. so I added 3 drops of Totally wicked American Red tobacco to it (1.4ml clearomizer). WOW. a taste I like, TONS of vapor. but lacking Throat hit. Going to try and add a drop or 2 of vodka next. I'm calling it Cool-Tutti-Fruity-Tabacy

Whoops looks like I posted in wrong thread by mistake. Sorry!

after a day of steeping this stuff is blowing MASSIVE CLOUDS of vaper. But, it's lost flavor, not to sweet, kind of flowery. Gonna add some more flavor and a tad bit of Sucralose to go.

Ordered Nicbase 60mg, PG, Koolada, (wanted "flash" but store didn't have it) and a few more flavors. Mixing lab is building up (15 flavors on the shelf and 5-6 more in order). I made a Grape test batch today. 7 ml
10% Vodka
10% loranne Grape
5% Sucralose to go
75 VG (Humco USP)

Hot water steep and many shakes. Loaded it into a CE5. Good Flavor, no vapor (blown away by this considering it was HIGH VG). Tried thinning which flooded the ce5. Flushed it. Any ideas or insight?

Yeah, I thought I could just jump in and make a good cake by my self.
I'm just learning enough to know 'less is more' (flavor)
All of my NON RY4 bases suck...
even my 'half ripped' ry4 flavored juices are not as good as the pros(at all).
My plan? 200 bottles. accurate measurement. 1 flavor at a time.
good luck, it IS doable.

Lots of trial and error. If I can make one suggestion don't judge a flavor for a week---it may very well change and less is more is often the case. Sometimes patience is needed more than additional flavor. That flowery taste/smell is probably from the tobacco. Luckily there are many more flavors you can get online if those don't suit you.

why so much vodka??.. im guessing you wanna make juice using only vg.. which is fine but i think your adding too much vodka.. 10% seems like alot.. and maybe thats why your not getting enough vapor.... you might be cutting the vg too much?... just trying to help.

Like I mentioned I haven't found much I like. However, I did uncap all my Bluemist samples that I didn't like and let them breathe a few days. Now I like a few of them.
Uncapping juice is simply letting the flavor compounds evaporate. Over flavoring is a common practice in the e cig industry. I always start low or find the correct recommendations from the manufacturer.
