I finally ordered a provari 2.5 and ext cap and then it hit me that my batteries my not work with it. I have samsung inr 18650 25r i think its flat top and i need button tops? I tried to find a provari thread and im sure everything to know is there but i was stuck in the maze of threads. If my batteries dont fit will the ones i need be at local vape shops, maybe? Common battery, easy to find? I picture my provari getting here and then having to wait on batteries to show up,lol, i dont wanna!

Yeah, when my first MOD with replaceable batteries was on the way I waited for shipping info before ordering my batteries from LIION. Would you believe the MOD made it here from China before the batteries? Called the local B&M Vape shop and had him charge a couple chocolate bars for me. Paid a premium but he needs to make a profit and he did sell me fully charged batteries.

In my experience thay can withstand quite a beating, and the stainless connector is almost impossible to wear out. The top cap bevels down to about 19mm, so some nice fitting options are the Nautilus Mini, Kanger Subtank Nano and the Atomic RDA. There are more 19-20mm toppers to find if you care for that size. Otherwise, the Provape cap lets most 22mm toppers fit on top without any overhang. I hope you enjoy it for years to come!

Do you know about the Provape forum here on ECF. The great people over there will be glad to help you any way they can.

Not if she bought the full size Provari. It uses 18650 batteries with an extention.

Button top only as per above.

I use AW batteries when I can in my 2.5s, but I have also been using a bunch of eFest 18500 and 18350 batteries in my 2.5s for over 6 months and they are fine IME.

I bought 6 eFest v2 18500 batteries today actually as I needed batteries for mone and my wife's 2.5s and my local shop had them in stock and they were super cheap (about $4 each). May not be the highest rated, and I wouldn't use 2-3 eFest 18650s in my 75-200w mods, but for 18350 and 18500 batteries at 10-13w, I don't think twice about using them if my AWs aren't charged or I need a battery in a pinch.

The AW button top batteries are very easy to find/common vape batteries so you should be able to buy them at most B&M vape shops but you'll pay more than online...However, in a jam, like your new Provari arrives and you dont have a battery ;) .... you CAN quite easily run out and buy one right away

As a previous poster said, you can also use the EFEST ones should your local shop be out of/not carry the AW's. Red Efests are a bit lower quality and wont last quite as long-though that's debatable, some people really like them- but will work in your Provari

You won't be disappointed! I love love love my 3 Provaris! They really are stellar easy to use devices! One of mine has fallen out of my jeep at least 3 times into concrete. (I hold it between my legs while driving sometimes and always forget it's there while getting out!) and am still rocking it today with not so much as a scuff!

That can also be said about the glass on the IBTankeds cartotanks too. Each time I dropped my Provari I was using one and never had the glass or the caps fail on it! Those things at TOUGH!!

I'm thinking I should order another while they're still $49! I need another Zombie Edition in my life!
