I have been lurking this forum for three straight days, watched a video from mistressnomad, and now wanting a 510 or an 808. I tried searching for suppliers here in the forum and found Liberty Flights (they have paypal option, which is great) and Freedom Smoke USA but all starter kits that i like (510 / 808) are OUT OF STOCK!

I went to my local Cig shop here in our place and got sold by the store owner with the "30-day warranty" or "free trial" of knight sticks, It was not that satisfying, not to mention bad reviews here. Now Im thinking of returning the basic pack (bought it for $20 plus tax) tonight and just buy a kit online....

any suggestions on where to buy affordable kits online (with good customer service). I just hope freedom or liberty will have stock soon.

any suggestions are highly appreciated.

I highly recommend NOT getting either a 510 or an 808 model UNLESS you currently smoke less than about half a pack per day. You'll soon learn to dread the short battery life. Start right away with either an eGo (the big battery version of the 510) or an Elegant Easy (the big battery version of the 808) if you smoke more than 3/4 pack a day.

I agree with you Rosa.

Edit: The Elegant easy only has a 7 day warranty. That would concern me.

I had to return an atty & my pass-through this week and both are thankfully under warranty. Thank God!

Thanks for this (good info), Im a light smoker that is why I aim for a 510 or an 808. Its just that all starter kits that I have seen on sites are either out of stock or not have such hardware.

Hmmm I smoked about 1.5 pad and am doing fine with the 808. I have 2 batteries and have not had one run out before the other was charged as of yet.

Just a suggestion- maybe get another battery. If something happens to one, you'll be up sh**ts creek waiting for one to charge.

Maybe it just depends on how much you vape then. I never used an 808 (280 mah) but when I used the 510 (180 mah) I could go through one in an hour on a heavy vaping day (spent most of my time vaping and staring at my charger with a worried look on my face) -- I imagine that the extra 100mah offered by the 808 would have got me another half hour to an hour more of vaping time. I figured I'd need to carry about 6 batteries if I worked an 8 hour day plus 45 minute commute each way.
