I recently bought 28g kanthal wires so I can build with them but I found a problem really quickly. No matter how I build them they heat up really slowly. Even the nano coil is still a tad slow. But what I'm asking is there anyway to get it to heat up any faster?? I've tried it on 4-5 different vapes..

28 gauge in a micro coil should heat up pretty fast at ranges of 0.5-1.8 ohms. A lot depends on your available amps, mod fired on, amount of wire used.
Without knowing what your battery device used for firing the build used, and the rba used, coil configuration, diameter and number of coils, batts used, ohms of build, tiper canoe and tyler too, or something like that.
It's like this, without knowing all the facts, any speculation would be a blind shot in the dark, aiming for a barrel of monkeys, or something like that.

Has to do with the mass of the wire. More metal takes longer to heat - and to cool, so it will keep vaporizing a bit after you release the button, too.
