Just wondering if this happens to any other brands or anyone else for that matter. I tend to vape pretty heavy when I pickup my 510,to the point where the atty is too hot to touch... I have noticed that the top of the cart where you drop liquid has a few spots melted. I looked at some other carts I use for the 510 and also semi melted. Idk if that's safe or not, hit me back very curious!

Yeah the 510's run pretty hot,that happens to me sometimes. I've started keeping 2 cigs set up all the time & alternate between them.That pretty much took care of the problem. You basically answered your own question, you're not suppose to let them get too hot. This will also cause you to go through liquid faster.I think the extra heat causes the juice to evaporate(I'm guessing) A trick I use in the car is hold my cig up to the AC vent between puffs.
As far as safe, I don't believe it will burn the house down,but if it tastes bad, stop, let it cool down & top off. It's still safer than analogs.

make sure the bridge is fairly centered in the atty. You probably dont' want to inhale too much plastic so try what newbutt said
