My Adept Innokin Zlide device no longer holds a charge.

I have learned that all mods break sooner or later or at least mine have. Every mod I have owned was less than $100. I do not know if say a $300 or higher mod would last longer. I would rather buy 3 mods >$100 than buy a high-end mod and it quit working. I bought a uwell EVDILO and it didn't work straight out of the box. I don't know everything but, I assume any mod could be used for MTL. If a tight draw is needed you can adjust the airflow. I believe most vapors just getting off cigs want MTL experience because that is how they smoked. Speaking from my experience, I started like that and eventually changed to DTL as I got more used to vaping.

It really depends the person that uses a device any device...I see people still have their old phones from decades ago on a drawer and they look like new hahah...I am not that kind of person....usually the things I own it's not I break them easily but I use them a lot...either it's phone or vape device or even my car....I USEEEEEE THEM TO THE MAXXX and I may be careful with electronics in terms of how to charge it and not use on wrong conditions but I don't pay attention to not scratch them or not hit them...and they may fall down few times

Coolfire z 50 it's a very nice looking mod and it's small like u said u wanted...
The batter is not like adepts but it was lastiing me through the day for like 500puffs according to puff counter with 0.8coils at 16watts...maybe u have already seen it but just saying...it used to be a kit with zlide Soo it matches great..

Any other mod with adjustable wattage will be great in my opinion....if u choose something else ifs better u go for one with a removable battery...
I don't know your budget but someone would say u get a kroma r mod that it's also innokin and matches your zlide very good also
Honestly if u can tho I strongly suggest u get an aegis solo that has removable battery or any other aegis mod (aegis mini with build in battery)or aegis max cause they seem to be very long lasting and u gonna have it in future if u change your vape style or just stick to MTL with other atomizer...
I know cause I started with the zlide for mtl also and now I vape totally differently even tho I would swear i wouldn't change..

Would the Vaporesso TARGET MINI 2 be a good choice?

It would be fine, as would the Coolfire z50. In both cases, you could just get the mod and go on using the tank you have now (although if you only have one tank, I'd recommend picking up a backup).

I think they're a bit smaller than the Adept, but they do have less battery life (about 2/3 of the Adept).

If you keep your Zlide and continue to vape it at 11 watts or so, you should get the same vape from the new device you did with the Adept. The vaping experience is mostly the result of the tank, coil and wattage you're vaping at, so if you keep those the same and just switch the mod (power source), there shouldn't be much of a difference.

Yes, a mod is merely a source for power and has no bearing on the draw of your tank.

That vaporesso target mini 2 it's similar to the coolfire z 50 in max watt power and but the target charges faster and looks more ergonomic to hold with the shape it has sooo I would go for that...but that's my opinion ofc lol
Keep in mind those are devices that u adjust your wattage on your own sooo u will check the coil recommended range of wattage that are written on the coil and then u adjust exactly what u like best...
It's not like the adept that u choose low medium and high...and those mods can work with any other atomizer u choose to change in future as long as the coils of it are up to 50watts thats the power those mods can give max...

I'm no rookie Mr. & I know & know how to put together /take apart a tank of any kind .....
& I have the Nautilus mini & the bigger Nautilus & they are the best, but 1 disadvantage is the bottom fill,
I purchased the Slide Tank because it was top-fill, but it's apiece-crap I haven't gotten any use out of the 20 coils I put in it after a vape my e-liquid is pouring out of the air-holes ...
& All the seals & whatever else is attached like it's suppose to plus I've changed all them 2 times & e-liquid still pours out of the air-holes no matter what pg/vg ratio of e-liquid I put in it !!

I didn't call u rookie...or tried imply that u are....just saying facts it was a very bad luck with this unit...can happen with any product not just vape devices

Thanks for the suggestions. I need something to stealth vape because I'm always vaping. Are those two mods you mentioned MTL? It's important I get a MTL vape because the ones that go straight to my throat hurt my voice.

MTL refers to the tank and not a mod.

Vape mods could be better builded since the boards are not anything fancy compared to the technology we got now days in my opinion...I never owned any of the 100$ + mod to know if there is difference but I guess there is... I think the charging ports tho will be the same like in phones it's not anything that cost to cheap out especially if it's not USB type c...
Many people here will tell u they got device's maaaany years and no problems...u know how it is man...there is always possibility of faulty units in everything I guess...
Maybe it's not the charging port the problem with yours...if it doesn't charge can be problem with battery that it's internal and can't change...we have seen batteries fail and in many good phones also (ahem samsung) ...but also can be the board problem...extreme heat can affect those things...I don't say it happens to yours it just example...
And then can be the charging port problem ofc...
Since u tried charge it with different cables and chargers and got no results...
I understand that maybe u can't afford another mod ATM cause can happen to many of us but consider that smoking cost a lot also it kinda pays off...
If u can save to get removable battery mod like I told you and all the stuff u need u won't worry for that stuff

I've got a fully working tablet, that no longer charges due to its micro-usb port becoming too loose inside - it only chargers if you hold the USB cable at a certain angle.

Since then, I buy magnetic USB cables and adapters for all my devices that I charge. And if I had an internal battery mod, I'd use a magnetic charger with that too.

The adapter stays in the micro-usb/lightning/type- c ports all the time. To charge, you just snap the magnetic USB cable to the adapter.

I never said anything bad about the Nautilus or Nautilus Mini those 2 are grrr8, I jus do not like em cause the bottom fill,
Having to turn the tank up side down & unscrewing the thing gets annoying !!
I was wanting a change in tanks & really wanted a top-fill & I thought the Zlide Tank would be the one for me, but i was totally wrong it's crap...
& Then what do u mean by I Know What U Did referring to the Zlide Tank & my problems w/it ??

If the charging port is your issue, you want something like this: the magnetic connector leaves the port directly in your mod at all times, reducing wear and tear.

They can be handy.
