My advice to new vaper's.

I started out with a rebuildable and there's times I just don't want to mess with it (now a them) like when riding my motorcycle, or running around town, same for my guy, he's happiest with his eGo T and a modified Kanger ProTank2. (the set up is just a little over $20/piece)

I so agree on the having five, it's all about the flavors and that's just about right, going now I've got Franken vape in one of the "mods", Mother's Milk, Queenside for with my coffee, Claim Your Throne, and Madrina (love that cool fresh honeydew the heat index if freaking 104 here). so when one's charging (or batteries are) you've got one to switch off too.

Vaped a couple weeks then got a Kayfun. I agree. Only thing is due the research and learn how to use it first. Flavor is off the chain and totally worth it. Didn't think anything would beat the aerotank Mega, but I was wrong. Watch it though. These things will chew through juice so fast it will make your head spin and flatten your wallet in an instant from buying e juice.
I thought I spent a lot on the provari and kayfun. I was wrong there as well. The big money goes to e juice, easily. Any setup is cheap as dirt compared to what e juice will end up costing. Especially the high end brands at $10 per 15ml which only lasts me 3 days tops in a kayfun.

Ha! Just wait until you get into RDA's. Talk about going through the juice in a hurry. But the flavor and vapor produced is amazing. Whoa!

However, you can also make your own if you are so inclined. There's a great forum here for that as well. I love this place!

Vaping indeed has been a journey. I remember the good ole' days of using tea bags or blue aquarium filter to renew cartos. Cutting Go-Go carts in half, snatching out the center tube and filler with a pair of needle nose pliers, reaming the edge to fit a drip tip, and using them for dripping. This is just a couple of many events in my journey.

The only thing I felt that I wasted money on was the Apollo tanks(complete junk). Overall it has been a learning experience that has gotten me where I am today.

Grab and go stuff definitely has a market, and the stress of putting down cigarettes AND trying to learn rebuildables can easily be too much for a new vaper. Personally, if I was picking someones starting set up, they'd get a cheap variable wattage device and a aerotank. If the size of the device scared them too much I'd step them down to a iTaste VV(my favorite variable ego clone but any of them would work) and a aerotank/aerotank mini. If they showed any interest later on, I'd show them how to rebuild the heads, and if they liked that I'd recommend a Kayfun to them.

I have tech head/motorcycle mechanic friends who I'd have no problem throwing a RBA at to start out, but they're really an exception to the rule.

If you try vaping and plan to stick with it DO Not do what I did. I spent alot of money gradually moving up in price on tanks and ended up buying about 5 that were all good quality and good vapes but I always wanted more flavor, alot of it has to do with me not being able to taste the juice by midday so I was always looking for a better hit and each payday I would buy a new tank, IMO it would be best to skip the in between steps and go straight to a rebuildable. I got my kayfun yesterday and don't think I will ever need another tank, I stayed away from rebuildables at first because I thought they were all drippers but this thing holds 4.1 ML in the tank, double the flavor of anything I have tried so now all that money I spent on tanks was basically wasted. I will keep my aspire nautilus as it is the best tank I have found that has replacable atomizers. I watched alot of video's on rebuilding kanger single coils and if you can get that tiny coil built and installed that will help your flavor alot and if you master that the rebuildables have way more space to work with. Just my 2 cents.

Well here is an update on my story,I said I would never use another tank but I have now discovered the world of dripping on RBA's, not a tank but so much more flavor, I have transitioned to lung hits and it is amazing flavor and vapor. I have purchased my first dna 30 and magneto mech mod with a plumeviel clone and I couldnt be happier. I no longer get vapors tongue/fatigue and the flavor is awesome. I guess there is nothing left to buy.....for now...I have doubled my juice usage, I am at about 10 ml a day but that is only .75 cents if you make your own juice which is real easy to do. My only issue is i can't go really low on ohms as it makes the vape too hot to inhale but I am currently working on that issue with airflow and different coil builds which is alot of fun, good luck to all.

also would like to add that i had to goto 6mg nicotine for dripping and last week went down to 4mg.

After going through a dozen or so clearos, a bunch of ego batteries, another dozen of RBAs, 6 or 7 RDAs, a bunch of mechs, a vamo, evic, sigelei 20w + another few PVs don't remember the name of, meters of kanthal, silica, cotton, seringes, jars, 1000 or so 10ml bottles, few liter of pg &VG, 150 ml of pure nic, .....
The list don't stop...
Point being.. I got a cupboard or two full of stuff but there will always be something new and shiny I wanna try or have.
Some things I throw, some I sell, the rest I keep. Just to have.

Always nice to save money along the way! me? not too worried about it right now. I have Kangertech Aero's that I have not even opened yet and am looking to buy the mega and the Giant very soon.
The step I would suggest skipping is the cheapo tanks and any disposable clearo's, that holds especially for all low mah batteries. Even getting bent over by a B%B first time out is cheaper than smoking. By this time next week I will break even on ALL my purchases so far. I also feel that even if it costs more it is worth it. Just not handing my money over to the government everyday so they can benefit from my cigarette addiction is priceless.
