well i just had my first atty burn out and i am very disappointed with this.. its a janty dura atty... im not quite for sure weather or not to contact the supplier or the company its self... it is still under warranty good thing i got an extra 2 attomizers gesh

I have burned out one myself .. Joye 510. It was ~ 3 weeks old. I am not sure if that is normal, as i have heard some people burn out them every week, and some every 4 months.

We need a formal study! lol

no i dont have any of the things to check it, plus my knowledge of electronics is VERY limited hopefully ill get a replacement since it still is under warranty grr

Sometimes the positive pole doesn't make good contact with the adapter and won't heat up; I wouldn't toss it until you get ahold of a meter

I myself did not. I figured the whole "Well it is not making noise nor heat, even on a fresh battery" combined with the weird lifetimes of these things meant it was dead and I just let it go

If you have a warranty USE IT!!!! I haven't lost any atty's yet, but, after just over a month I have several batteries that "ain't quite right". I've got 5 batts. ( I have a 510) Some seem to no longer be able to accept a charge from my wall charger (light doesn't turm red on some, but does on others) . Not sure if it's charger or batt's so I've labeled all my batt's, ordered a new wall charger, and now I'm experimenting, trying to figure out if they are good/bad or if charger is F#(%'ed up or what.

well i just took a piece of wire and put it on the positive terminal to make sure it would contact both + and - terminals still nothing

Every atty dies. Not every atty truly lives!

I've only had two 510 atomizers die on me in the last four months, but I just know that because I posted this, more will kick the bucket just to spite me!

Good thing I have a year's worth of cartomizers stocked up!

haha unfortunately yes, but its only a 3.7v nico stick, so its not like im pushing ungodly amounts of power to it there should have been no problems... But THANKFULLY im getting a new atty sent to me today thank god 3 month warranty
