no i dont have any of the things to check it, plus my knowledge of electronics is VERY limited hopefully ill get a replacement since it still is under warranty grr

Sometimes the positive pole doesn't make good contact with the adapter and won't heat up; I wouldn't toss it until you get ahold of a meter :)

If you have a warranty USE IT!!!! I haven't lost any atty's yet, but, after just over a month I have several batteries that "ain't quite right". I've got 5 batts. ( I have a 510) Some seem to no longer be able to accept a charge from my wall charger (light doesn't turm red on some, but does on others) . Not sure if it's charger or batt's so I've labeled all my batt's, ordered a new wall charger, and now I'm experimenting, trying to figure out if they are good/bad or if charger is F#(%'ed up or what.:oops:
