I WILL quit for the simple reason I hate to be addicted to anything

;) like food?
If you stop eating food, you will get all the classic symptoms of quitting a heavy drug cold turkey.

Seriously though... These days, I can go all day without vaping and not have any physical symptoms. Smoking was an addiction. vaping is a habit for me.... Well and a bit of self-medication

I have no intention or desire to stop vaping. I once tapered my nic levels down to 6mg...

But now they're back up to 24mg (12mg on a cloud producing RDA :D ) and at 6+ mils a day, I vape like a Lab Rat (as Drew used to say :) )

I'm a collector... I try not to be, but I am...

Itses Soooooo Shiny Precciouses.... We wantses it!

But on the other hand I never had any intention or desire to stop smoking either. I TRULY enjoyed my cigarettes!
Yet here I am...

So who knows what the future may bring... Only Death is certain...

Interesting question that I hadn't really considered before. I am newly off the stinkies so for at least the foreseeable future I have no plans to quit, though I do want to lower my nic levels. Probably in a year or so I will reconsider. Just as the thought of still having the smoking monkey on my back for the rest of my life was not something I was looking forward to, I can't see myself popping into the vapor lounge when I'm 75.

However if that's what it takes to keep me off analogs then sign me up!

I never actually thought about it. I know one thing though, if I decided I wanted to quit it would be EASY compared to stinkies. I go hours and sometimes all day without a vape and I don't even think about it until I go to take a vape and am like "damn, its been a while".

Hours?!? ALL DAY??!?!?!??!?!!!!!

I started vaping to quit smoking. 5 years of personal research told me that I was smoking to control depression and anxiety. With about the same severity side-effects as a prescription, although obviously different. I have slowly lowered my nic down to around 4-6 mg and when I go lower, I get the anxiety and depression, so I only lower occasionally to see how

My biggest fear of quitting smoking was the fact that I knew that I personally would crave it for the rest of my natural born life. I was addicted before I ever smoked my first cig. I did quit one time (coincidentally at the time that I conceived my child) - no idea why other than I woke up one day and said "I'm tired of this." As soon as I quit nursing, the craving was back. With that exception, I have always been of the mindset of "nope, I will never quit."

At the beginning of the year I decided I would give it a try. My daughter hates the smell and was very worried about Mommy's health and that gave me the push to at least try. I tapered down then tried the patch. On the patch, I was about to lose my mind from the withdrawels (even supplementing it with e-cigs-a-likes from the convenience store.) Thankfully, a friend of mine came to visit for the weekend and loaned me his vape. It changed my life.

At first it was just like "Wow!!! This is awesome! You couldn't pay me to smoke an analog now." Then I started noticing something interesting. I am on anti-anxiety medication and when it came time to refill my prescription, I found that I still had almost half a bottle left. Upon doing some research, I found out why... it's the nicotine. Why it didn't work the same way with the patch, I've no idea. I can only guess it has to do with the delivery system?

So after a long post my answer is... Nope! I will continue to use my 16 nicotine juice and take less of the pill form pharmaceuticals.

Nope. I don't for see myself quitting. It is this or cigarettes, and as of now, I am convinced this is far less harmful. Nicotine helps with an assortment of things, including and especially keeping a hold on that slender thread of sanity I have. Thank God for warm nicotine and not burning tar. Long live Vaping!!!! :vapor:

Being new, nope, not right now. It has become a hobby very quickly. DIY Juices and custom building my own mods. I am enjoying it. The only thing I am working on now is dropping down to 6mg of nic.
one thing for sure...there will never be another analog here.

It is interesting to read some of the seasoned vaper talk about their doctors/health - (happy to read those comments and see this is a more healthier approach, my doctor and I actually might become friends again.lol)

No Way!! I will NOT quit vaping. Esp with the juices my new vendor which drives me up the wall each time I run out of it and have to wait for the postman to deliver it to my door. Where the hell can i find a lemon poundcake, almond horn, chocolate ameretti cake or a banana cream pie flavoured analog? No where!

And love it how the vaping business just comes out with better equipment each year. Like the new protank 2 and the innokin MVP which im so stoked about.

My customers and coworkers in the delivery sector used to complain how my truck always smelled so smoky and my new coworker who loads my truck for me every morning is allergic to smoke. Now they ALWAYS ask me what i had for lunch since it smells so good in there like cake!

I seriously don't think I'll ever give up vaping as I just enjoy it too much. I can however say that during the past few weeks much time has been spent where I couldn't vape or smoke and I did not get all nervous and anxious like I used to when I smoked. I've been vaping almost three years and normally use 12 or 6mg juice. I don't vape when my grandkids are around (and I don't sneak outside to vape like I used to when smoking). Rambling now, but guess for me I can go without vaping when necessary and can enjoy it when possible.

Even if I manage to get down to zero nic, vaping takes care of the Habit of smoking for me. I developed that habit for over 30 years. I can't see me ever breaking that one. The only way I can see me not vaping is if the choice is taken from me. At that point I will probably go back to smoking.

The act itself is calming in times of stress, I can walk away from a problem and vape while mulling over the problem and usually come back to the problem with a solution. It's my time out to just chill and recharge. ;)

Well said my Lady. Hope all is well.

And for the OP's question. Not as long as I can breath. I enjoy vaping way to much to give up.
