i think its Chocolate by Flavors Express , deff has that smell and taste, esp when chain tooting bobas i get that flavor alot. more of a tootsie roll chocolate flavor.

I love your recipe catalyst ... haven't tried it yet (dam peanut butter! not in my cupboard!) but it is "sound" in terms of the folklore behind Ben's "simple" recipe. Sure sounds easier than all the extractions I've been doing. Don't get me wrong though, I'm loving the journey. Peanut Butter extractions anyone LOL.

I've been vaping BB for a few weeks and it reminded me of a candy that I haven't had in awhile. So I got some Nestle Milk Chocolate Raisinets to snack on. To my taste buds, it's very similar to this candy. The raisen note comes out more after eating Raisinets. Raisinets and BB is a very dangerous combination if you have a sweet tooth. =D

the dark chocolate raisinets are really good too.

Edit: Nvm, seems there is a standard label/bottle and then another label stuck over top of it printed with the juice name and such... still taste some pg tho. gonna try a new coil. maybe this one is wonky.

Ok so I got an 18ml bottle of alien visions bobas bounty. Am I missing something here? I thought it was supposed to be all vg but the ingredients listed on the bottle say: Nic, VG, PG & natural and artifical flavors....

Did I get the wrong thing? I can clearly detect the PG in it...

Did you get the wrong one Buffaloguy? Alien Visions is the real one and Alien Vapor is the false one. No such label on the Alien Visions one, it doesn't have PG.

Ya'll are going to think I fell down and bumped my head but when I first got BB and tried it, I thought of a shot and a beer in a smoky bar. lol Still no cinnamon, cereal, raisins or coconut for these taste buds. So I've been working on some recipes in that vein. Some of them are quite tasty.

No its alien visions. The card in the envelope even had that Ben guys name on it. I tried a fresh atty.

I still taste something PG ish... I absolutely have the right thing. What I get is something along the lines of TA and tpa gingerbread... maybe a touch of chocolate, but oddly i get a little cherry too.

Still i think im gonna sample it again tomorrow morning. Usually my buds are fresher in the A.M. There is definitely TA in this. Its unmistakeable. I use it in many juices and I know it like the back of my hand. Plus the fact that he had trouble getting it recently when it was out of stock at TPA says it all.

Another note of certainty... this is not a 60%vg/40% flavoring and distilled water juice. I make all my juices 80%vg/20% everything else. I can vape them without scorching the juice at 8watts... sometimes 9 depending on the coil i build. I cannot push this juice past 7watts without it burning up. This leads me to believe that it has less distilled water, if any than rhe juices I make. I spent many weeks whwn,i first started vaping and diy to get the perfect balance so VG would wick well across all atty types. DW was key in that effort. This has far less dw than I would use on a comparable juice I make.

The reddish color leads me to believe its not cinnamon being used either. More likely, as I said is gingerbread.

I truly dont believe this is all VG, nor do I believe it has more than three possible ingredients. I think Ben's statements about what is in it... are all smoke and mirrors.

I dunno. Until I start mixing some stuff based on my hunches, and they are just hunches right now, I should prolly just vape it some more over then next couple days.

Pic of the ingredients list on my bottle. Says PG. Again I think its a standard label used on all bottles cause there is a white sticker place over top of it in the center that looks computer generated that says "bobas bounty 18ml 18mg alien visions e-juice". I can usually taste PG at higher levels in a juice, say over 20% PG, plus I get crushing headaches when i vape more PG than that in a juice. All pg heavy juices taste stale to me across the board. Now my suspicion is either the formula isnt once what it was from what people have described... or there is PG in it. Not alot... but enough that I taste that "staleness".

I need more time with it tho. My buds could be way off.

If I get one of those PG headaches then Ill know... lol.

I'm wondering the same thing, unless this is brand brand new, I've never had that green label. Maybe it's like roarvpor.com, where just a few days ago they put up a note and changed their listings because they're not really 100%VG. That or Ben has had to reformulate due to all those shortages in flavorings he was having a little while back.

Edit* Just noticed the avejuice.com site doesn't say 100%VG any longer for Boba's, and the FAQ mentions as little as possible PG, no more than 10%.

Part of me is surprised and the other part is relieved. I can't believe for so long he was misadvertising his product, hence the surprised part of me. On the other hand, this gives us a little room to play with the recipes/flavor sources to allow PG based flavors, which I'm almost positive is where the 10% PG is coming from, rather than nicotine or base.

Slow down there folks! Firstly .... did Alien Vision change their packaging? 'cause like others this is not how I got my BB, no label on mine other than a small little sticker on a green bottle, not a clear bottle. And I'd be shocked if Ben's claims weren't real regarding zero PG, that would be really bad given that a lot of folks buy his juice for exactly that reason ..... answers first.

Well I visited the site and it looks alot different then last time I was there. Theres also no more 100% VG category, and Boba's description just says "Our Boba's Bounty is a staple e-liquid for the tobacco aficionado!". I even did a search on their site of 'VG' and no results came up. I believe hes had to take that off due to there being smaller amounts of PG in his '100% VG' line, but you're right Slo, we should hear from Ben directly, which unfortunately, I have no idea how to do.
