It smells really good and it's supposed to have a unique sweet taste to it so I don't see why not. My first impression is that it would be really good in alot of different mixes and possibly a stand alone.

I tried a malted (assuming barley) mountain dew and the stuff was insanely delicious.

Wonder if a liquid could be made with some of this barley extract.

i think it could add an awesome base note to tobaccos, and i definitely think i am smelling malt in Boba's. GJ definitely smells like beer to me and my gf (who doesn't vape but drinks a fair amount of beer). High Desert Vapers is selling NF flavors now, but they don't carry malt :( I'm going to put together an interest thread for a NF flavor CoOp.

Just tried it this morning. I didn't do that much of an evap so I'm still getting a good from the malt bottle which makes it difficult to clearly comprehend what actual malt smells like. That probably doesn't make any sense but I'm thinking if I evaporated more of the alcohol out it would be easier to identify. This stuff is extremely thin, I got the NF butterscotch and Caramel cream too and they all have the same viscosity. This might help explain bobas viscosity and why you can't get it in a PG version. I had a 10 ml bottle of Sept Wolves already made up (100% VG). This is a Hangsen super concentrate sold by VZ. I added about 1 ml of the malt extract to it and if you looked at the juice afterwards you would think it was a 50/50 mix. I might be exaggerating a little bit here (not much though) but you get the point. You would have to be careful using NF flavoring in PG mixes because this stuff will really thin out the juice. Anyway, the malt extract completely changed the flavor profile of the Sept Wolves. It's awesome. Not sure how to explain it other than you could see where a lot of people would have a great deal of difficulty trying to identify this flavor. I'm not really sure how to explain it, it's just really really good and ill probably be using this in about 95% of my DIY from now on. This extract mixed with the right tobacco is probably what bobas is. My guess is that it would be a more pronounced tobacco flavor and definitely a super concentrate.

I wasn't quite sure where to start with percentages on the NF stuff so I just winged it a little on the butterscotch and caramel cream. I mixed up 20 ml of 100% VG with about 10% butterscotch and about 5% caramel cream. This is better than COV's butterscotch IMO and would instantly become most vendors best seller (it's that good).

BM is a good flavor but if I could just tone down the chocolate, I could have something I can really work with. Anyone have luck toning down the chocolate?

BM = Black & Mild?

If so, I love the chocolate-ness of it :D

In fact, I want more chocolate in it. I add chocolate fudge brownie from capella to enhance it.

it says its more of a vanilla taste...

I know, I actually bought it because of that but it's actually more chocolately.

"In your opinion, is there a notable difference in flavor between this, and the Black & Mild sold at VZ? (I am liking the pricing more at EcigExpress, same price for double the amount )"

They are exactly the same, "exactly"... VZ carries a couple that ECX doesn't and vise versa. Also, there are a few that are just named differently. If you go back to ECX in a couple of weeks you'll see even more flavors in that line and they are about to start carrying some NF. NF is about to open their new website that is dedicated to e-cigs. Newport Flavors - Coming Soon! Now if we could only get WL to carry all of this stuff we would be in business.

What I've derived from this thread is a recipe which has evolved from a post here. I'm not really looking for a Boba's Clone but a nice pleasant vape. Here is the final version after a lot of tweeking:
TFA Brown Sugar 1%
TFA Cinnamon Danish 2%
TFA Banana Nut Bread 4%
TFA Graham Cracker 3%
WL Commercial tobacco 1% http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route=product/product&path=79&product_id=211
FW Coconut 1%
TFA Smooth 1.5%
This is a smooth, mild tobacco/bakery juice. Most people would increase the tobacco. It needs a few days of steeping, which I did using an Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. For me, it is an all day vape. Thanks for all the posts in this thread and to Levitas in particular.
